Windows 10 announced - Bye bye Windows 9
Well, obviously MS thought that it was a better idea to just skip Win 9 and jump straight to Win 10 instead.
Windows 10 has been announced as of today, but if you want to get your hands on it earlier, you'll either have to wait until the early part of 2015, or wait 24 hours. Tomorrow, Microsoft launches its Insider Program, offering a preview mode for both laptops and desktops.
Being Touted as the company's "most comprehensive platform, ever," Windows 10 stresses a single product family, platform, and store. The best feature of the new OS is the familiar start menu for mouse users and the like.
New look:
The new version looks like the pre-Windows 8 Start Menu, revealing a list of apps, folders, and a search bar, but to the side will be a series of Live Tiles. It will be familiar to many veterans of Microsoft Windows, and you'll find a Windows 7 Start Menu with a Windows 8 twist. The search function works much like it does when typing from the Windows 8 Modern UI, revealing apps, files, and web results.
Free will with Apps:
You can now Window the apps within the traditional desktop, adding more flexibility in how you use them—since currently, they can only be used at full-screen or within the confines of "snapped" windows. For the newly designed apps you can snap them to the desktop, in the much traditional fashion.
Task View:
When you initiate "Task View" a series of small desktop views will be displayed at the bottom of the screen, with larger previews of the apps being shown off in the middle of the display. You can also quickly select and move around apps from different desktops with a new "Snap Assist" function, which will be nice for the power users out there.
Different versions:
Microsoft will also introduce a different version for those using touchscreen computers. Yes that's right we'll finally see something different from Windows 8 exclusively as a universal operating system.
Instead of a small menu consisting of a bunch of text and small Live Tiles, touchscreen users will be given something that more resembles the Windows 8 Modern UI, while still in the traditional desktop. Microsoft is really working to blend both distinct interfaces into one experience that works for all users.
What would work best in this instance is if we received the option from the setup menu to decide which version we wanted, or if we could freely switch between the two modes.
What do you think of Windows 10? Let us know in the comments and share this post!
Nexis Games unveils the notorious Minecraft clone "U Craft"
One of the very few pictures of "U Craft".
There´s a whole lot of things going down in the world of Gaming at the moment. And many of them just happens to concern Minecraft. First, you got the whole deal with MS buying Minecraft (And Notch leaving Mojang). And now it´s time to say hello to Nexis Games (the makers of BrickBlast U!, Ride, The dance of the Damned and Ball or Nothing) Minecraft clone for the Wii U.
A game that has been given the fancy name "U Craft". But that´s pretty much all there is to it. A name, and some pictures. However, Nexis Games said (via Twitter) that once they hit 1,000 followers on Twitter. Nexis Games will release the very first gameplay video of U Craft.
So i guess we just have to wait for that one to be released. But what do you guys think? Can U Craft even match Minecraft? Or better yet, top it.

Beyond good and Evil 2 are back from the dead again
The face you make when you have waited over 6 years for a new Beyond Good and Evil 2 video.
It´s been over 11 years since Ubisoft released the original Beyond good and evil (Michel Ancel´s baby). And the latest Beyond good and Evil 2 video was released back in 2008 (E3). Since then, BGAE2 has been put on and off the ice more times than i can count.
At first everyone thought the game was dead. Then the project was up and running again. Just to be put on ice shortly after. And it´s been like that since 2008. Back and forth between happening and not happening. But yesterday i heard that Beyond good and Evil 2 might actually happen after all (i read it in the newest edition of PCG).
Then i found a whole bunch of Ubisoft statements of Beyond good and Evil 2. Which i have never seen before. And here they are:
"In many ways, [Beyond Good & Evil] is an inimitable game--it appeals to all generations of gamers and is an inspiration behind many of Ubisoft Montpellier's past and future games," a Ubisoft representative told Polygon. "It's still far too early to give many details about this new title."
"What we can say is that while [25-year Ubisoft veteran Michel Ancel, who designed the original Beyond Good & Evil] and the team at Ubisoft Montpellier are working with the core tenets of BG&E, they're developing something that aspires to push past the boundaries of a proverbial sequel and leverages next-gen technologies to deliver a truly surprising, innovative, and exceptional game," the representative said. "The entire team is excited about the direction this extremely ambitious project is taking, and we'll have more to share later, as it progresses."
Apparently Ancel are stationed at the indie game startup "Wild Sheep" (which are based in Montpellier, France). Where he will be working on the PS4 exclusive title "Wild". But what does that mean for BGAE2? Well, if Wild does really well.
Then Wild Sheep might become the studio that will bring BGAE2 to the shore. This ain´t much, but at least it´s something. There´s still hope...

Windows 8 users will get Windows 9 for free
***UPDATE!***
Apparently Windows 9 won´t be free for everyone. Because not everyone will be able to get the Win 9 upgrade for free.At least if you choose to believe the Russian internet personality"Wzor" (the very same guy that leaked info about Windows 8.2).
Because according to Wzor´s statements via Twitter. Only stand alone licences of Windows 8.1 will get the Windows 9 upgrade for free. So that means that if you got a OEM licens of Windows 8 (which normally comes with pre-installed computers), you will have to pay for Windows 9.
But keep in mind. None of this are official statements from Microsoft. So it´s going to be really interesting to see what MS will unveil during the San Francisco event today. A´lea iacta est! As the Romans would have said.
So there will be a lot of tension and excitement in the air today. Some things has already been said about Windows 9 though. Like the fact that everyone that has bought Windows 8, won´t have to pay a single penny for an Windows 9 upgrade.
And as you might already know, there´s a handful of leaked screenshots for Windows 9 on the web (start menu, desktop, the new IE, and so on). But even so, there´s a lot of people waiting to hear the "offical" releasedate for the Windows 9 preview, plus the full release (which are said to be set for a release sometime next year).

Doom Reborn Pre-Beta v1.0 - Doom goes Doom 3
Doom Reborn runs on the Doom 3 engine.
I (like many others) are waiting patiently for Sergeant Mark IV to release Brutal Doom V20, and for ID Software to release their new Doom game. But it seems to take quite a while for that to happen. So in the meantime i might just give Gamehacker´s "Doom Reborn" (Pre-beta v1.0, it´s 224MB big in size) a try.
And for those who doesn't know, Doom Reborn are Doom 1 with Doom 3´s graphics. That sounds pretty cool huh? Well, just wait til you see Doom Reborn in action. In fact, you will find a 54 minute long gameplay video down below ;)
And IF you decide to download Doom Reborn, don´t forget to download the GX update (it´s a small update for Doom Reborn pre beta v1.0) as well.
About Doom Reborn:
Doom Reborn is a total conversion mod for Doom3 of the original Doom Series. Our goal is to recreate the original Doom & Doom 2 in the Doom3 engine with new textures and new models of the original weapons and monsters with the maps redone and retextured. We also want to bring back the orignal doom hud but retextured and with a 3d model of doom guys head in the center (simlar to q3 & et). we will have a look a remaking the orignal music along with the sounds. I hope that you will enjoy the project as much as we will enjoy making it for you.
Primal Rage 2 - The rare arcade game really exists after all
There only exists 2 Primal Rage 2 arcade games in the whole world. And The Galloping Ghost Arcade owns one of them.
I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the Primal Rage 2 arcade machine (cancelled by Atari back in 1996). Because i´ve been hearing rumours about that game for many, many years now. But it does really exist for real. And The Galloping Ghost Arcade sure proved that.
Because they recorded the the Primal Rage 2 arcade machine two days ago. Cool indeed, and you can actually visit The Galloping Ghost Arcade (Illinois, US) and play it yourself. I don´t even wanna think about what they had to pay for Primal Rage 2 though.
I should also point out that The Galloping Ghost Arcade got over 400 playable arcade machines at their store. So if you´re into arcade games. Then you got quite a lot of games to enjoy on site.

Shuttle Scuttle - A old school shmup for iOS and Android

NES vibes anyone?
It seems like people (the players) simply can´t get enough of old school shoot-em-up games. And it doesen´t really matter if the game really are from the past, or new made-either. So i guess that you could say that the shoot-em-up genre are timeless and ageless.
Just take Embraceware´s "Shuttle Scuttle" (It costs $2 to iOS, MAC and Android) for example. Even though the game looks like something from the NES era, people still love it! I can´t really blame them for it though. Cuz i tried out Shuttle Scuttle to my iPhone this morning.
And it's bloody great!
That is until Neptune station reports of unidentified spacecraft approaching. A hostile force is making its way through the Sol system towards Earth. Armed shuttles for asteroid destruction are the only defense crafts available. Seek out and intercept this hostile force before Earth becomes a target!"
iFixit Video - The Macintosh 128k Take-Apart Review!
Macintosh 128k are still the shit.
It´s some what unreal that the Macintosh 128k was released over 30 years ago to this day (1984-01-24, to the price of $2,495). I mean, it feels like yeasterday for quite a few MAC users. Me, i wasn't even born when the Macintosh 128k hited the market.
And truth be told, i have never EVER owned a 128K MAC computer either. I did however play some games on it back in the early 90s (at a friends house). Anyhow, i found a really neat video the other day. It´s made by the neat Youtube channel iFixit Video.
And it´s called "The Macintosh 128k Take-Apart Review!", so, enjoy! =)
Aubrey Hodges - The master of dark ambient game OST´s

One of Aubrey Hodges very best soundtracks imo.
I found a real video game music gold mine this morning. Because i found my way to Aubrey Hodges bandcamp page. And i honestly didn't know that Aubrey had done so many great soundtracks over the years. I even feel somewhat embarrassed over the fact that i didn´t know that Aubrey made the Doom 64 and Doom PS1 OST.
I actually listened to the Bio Freaks (PS1) soundtrack for the very first time in my life today. And i really liked that one. I should also point out that Aubrey did a really great job on the Quake 1 and Quake 2 soundtrack for the N64.
So if you like ultra dark and evil ambient soundtracks. Then you MUST listen and buy Aubrey Hodges music asap!
Epic Duke Nukem Forever in-game fan art - Kopfstoff
It may be a "little" to late to bring up Duke Nukem Forever now (cuz the game has been out for years now). But i found a really neat and awesome DNF picture. It´s actually a in-game fanmade art piece (see the picture above!). A damn impressive one too.
I´m talking about Kopfstoff´s DNF picture. And it´s 100% made in the actual game. So, hands down to Kopfstoff!
this is some duke nukem forever fan art "in-game-doodle" i did yesterday, photographed straight from the "first access demo". took me 2 1/2 hours - there's no option to save in-game and i don't have any recording tools installed to upload real videos... so here is the final result, hope you like! :) "
You can see a "dirtY GIF ANIMATION" and the first reaction of that EDF-dude after realising what just happend on my blog: (www.kopfstoff.blogspot.com)" - kopfstoff, via deviantart
Harley Quinn - Kitty Young
I have seen many, many Harley Quinn cosplayers throughout the years. But I think I have found my nr 1 Harley Quinn cosplayer. And her name Is "Kitty Young". I found her by pure luck today, cuz I was reading about Batman arkham origins (what people think about it).
And after a while, I saw someone mentioning "The queen of Harley Quinn cosplaying". Of course I became curious of whom It could be. So I started dig deeper into the subject. That´s also how i found Kitty Young.
Imo, she´s like both this cute, twisted, dark and bad ass version of Harley Quinn. And that makes her version of Harley Quinn very uniq and cool. So if you like Kitty Young´s Harley Quinn cosplay. Then you can find even more pictures on her Facebook page!
Quantum Break - Remedys revolutionary action game
Quantum Break are still a TBA title for Xbox One (yes, it´s a exclusive Xbox One game).
Way back in 2013 (summer) i wrote about Remedy Entertainments upcoming action game "Quantum Break". But it´s been rather quite since then. In fact, i forgot about the game. But then i saw the gameplay demo at this years Gamescom event.
And i started to get a "bit" excited about Quantum Break again. Not everyone seems to be impressed by the Gamescom 2014 demo though. I saw this comment by Heikki360ES on Youtube for ex:
"I'm sorry, but i don't like it. I love Max Payne. I love Alan Wake. But i don't like what we've seen so far about Quantum Break. I mean, the gunfire. It doesn't look polish at all, too quick, bad IA, and i'm not sure about the freeze time power.
In my opinion, that should be something special, something you do once in a while. Looks so overpowered. Alan Wake gunfire wasn't something special, but it worked flawlessly from minute 1. I can't say the same about this one."
And he/she had a really good point. But just like always, i want to try the game in question before i nail down the flaws and so on. So, what do you guys think about Quantum Break so far? Cool or nah?
About Quantum Break:
Developed exclusively for Xbox One, Quantum Break blurs the line between television and gameplay, integrating the two into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience. From Remedy Entertainment, the critically acclaimed creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne, comes a revolutionary entertainment experience that weaves the cinematic action of intense gameplay with the tension and drama of scripted television, creating a world where each has a direct impact on the other.
In Quantum Break, our desperate hero fights a highly personal battle to save the future before time literally runs out. As time breaks down, impossible, split-second moments of destruction turn into epic stages of time-powered action. The actions you take, and the choices you make, shape your experience as the narrative unfolds. As you play, a personalized "director's cut" of the show is created just for you, based on the decisions you make during the game. Quantum Break will lead the new generation of interactive entertainment, as the show and game deliver a holistic entertainment experience made possible only on Xbox One.
Night Trap revamped - The game that god forgot
But when i got the chance to play it during a game jam at the end of 93 (Stockholm). I knew from the very start that Night Trap was pure garbage. It´s not even a game, it´s more like a interactive video than anything else (like "Plumbers don't wear ties" for ex).
And still to this very day, Night Trap are still considered to be one of THE worst video games ever made. So i was quite surprised to hear that the original makers (Digital Pictures) tried to do a remake of Night Trap. But that´s not all, they actually aimed to collect $330,000 via Kickstarter.
That´s like, are you fu**ing kidding me? For real? Why would you even want to make a remake of a crapy game anyway? Most people that remember the game hates it, and the rest just don´t remember it at all. So what´s the point?
That´s right, money talks. But this time, the Kickstarter community showed Night Trap Revamped no mercy. Because on September the 10th, the gamehaven't even reached $40,000. But will this really be the last thing we hear and see from Night Trap Revamped?
I honestly don´t know, or care for that matter. Only the Gaming gods know the answer to that one...
About Night Trap revamped:
The storyline of the film — a fun-filled tribute to the schlocky slasher movies of the ‘80s — provides just as much entertainment as the gameplay, and first-rate talent is on display both in front of and behind the camera. Dana Plato (Diff’rent Strokes) plays a key role as a S.C.A.T. agent, while future Oscar-nominee Don Burgess (Forrest Gump, Spider-Man) handles the cinematography.
Max Impulse - A high speed anti-gravity racing game
Hopefully there will be a beta for Max Impulse asap.
Wipeout may be dead and gone for life. But thankfully enough, more and more indie studios develop new and "Wipeout" like games. A perfect example of that would be Betwixt Games upcoming racing game "Max Impulse".
Me, i wouldn't even have heard of the game if it hadn't been for Twitter (Betwixt Games followed us on Twitter yesterday). Anyhow, i just watched a gameplay trailer for Max Impulse. And imo, it seems to be the Unity version of Wipeout (kind of).
But yeah, i liked the trailer. So i wouldn't mind giving Max Impulse a go!
"Max Impulse is a non-stop thrill ride 3D racing game that never lets up. With a diverse selection of characters and vehicles on some of the craziest tracks you can imagine, this is literally the future of racing!"

Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate - Summer Jam 8
The summer are long gone for this year. But at least i got a sweet taste of the summer when i watched Team Ninja´s DOA5: Ultimate Summer Jam 8 video. Because in that video we get the great pleasure to see Marie Rose in action (played by "Sonix Fox").
Sure, it´s not DOA5: Last round, but it will do just fine for now. And guess three times who won the fight between Marie Rose and Rig? ;) (don´t look on the video title! That´s cheating).
Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King - A epic action RPG game
Blossom Tales are like a mix of Zelda, Wonder Boy and Phantasy Star.
It may be Sunday, and i may just have woken up. But i honestly thought that Castle Pixel´s action/RPG game "Blossom Tales", was something that i just dreamed about last night. Well, i´m glad that i was wrong. Because the game are very much real.
In fact, Blossom Tales are alive and kicking on Kickstarter right now. And the goal would be to collect $45,000. A goal that´ is not entirely impossible, because Blossom Tales have alreadi raised $11,000 so far. I also noticed that there´s 19 days left on the Kickstarter campaign.
So there´s quite a lot of time left for Blossom Tales to reach that 45K goal line. I just hope hope that enough people will back the game, because it´s been years since i was this excited over a old school action/rpg game.
And IF everything goes well. Then Blossom Tales are set for a late release next year sometime (for PC and iOS, other formats will follow as well).
About Blossom Tales:
Drawing inspiration from the beloved top-down adventure games we grew up with, Blossom Tales is a refreshing combination of classic Action-RPG gameplay and modern design.
Players can expect a one-of-a-kind experience as they explore hand-crafted dungeons that cleverly combine pre-designed layouts and randomized areas, all while using the handy target-lock system to take out specific enemies, lock onto a boss’ weak spot, and interact with puzzle elements and game world objects.
The young Lily will also keep players on their toes by occasionally introducing enemies, story events, and more as she helps her Grandpa tell the tale.
Featuring a vibrant world to get lost in, challenging quests to complete, and memorable characters to meet, our hope is for players to feel as though they've been transported back to the glorious days when pixelated visuals and chiptune music captivated us for hours on end.
We plan on releasing Blossom Tales in late 2015 for the PC followed by an iOS release. We are aiming to bring Blossom Tales to Macs, Linux, Wii U, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS and Android but we cannot guarantee them at this time.

Transformers Universe - Live at Eurogamer Expo 2014
Yep, Transformers Universe will be at EGX London.
There´s so many awesome games that will be shown at EGX London. And one of them are Jagex Games Transformers Universe. But that´s just the half of it.Because apparently both Pandemic and Outsider got shown at EGX London as well.
And they will also be showcased on the Twitch stage tomorrow (5pm BST). And from what we been told, Pandemic and Outsider should now be available in the live beta of Transformers Universe. So if you got access to the live beta. Then you should be able to play as either Outsider or Pandemic.
Press release:
25th September 2014: To celebrate Transformers Universe’s presence at EGX 2014, Jagex are delighted to introduce Pandemic and Outsider to the ever growing barracks of warriors. Both are now available in the game’s live beta and will also be showcased on the Twitch stage at the event from 5pm BST on Sunday the 28th September.
Pandemic is the first warrior to bring ‘controller’ status to the Decepticons - an inventive new sub-class that can weaken, trap and manipulate enemies against their will. Utilizing his versatile armory, Pandemic is able to inflict insidious viral infections, grapple enemies, drag them to his position and then temporarily disable their currently equipped weapon. While being all about locking his adversaries down, he can also hold his own in an offensive capacity and still escape retaliation in his stylish sports car vehicle form.
In every arms race there needs to be a counter-deterrent, and this comes in the form of Outsider for the Autobots. Equipped with a fearsome array of assault weaponry, his true talents for control come from his equipment load-out.
The Localized GroundBridge acts as a short-range teleportation device that allows him to drop into combat, attack enemies and then blink back to the location where his Unstable Receiver was previously placed. Not only that, but Outsider can also employ the same teleportation technology to generate a Matter Anchor – a deployable gravity well that binds enemies and drags them towards its center.

Bedlam - A post-apocalyptic roguelike RPG
Bedlam uses Stoic ´s "The Banner Saga" engine.
I just knew that there was something familiar with Skyshine Games RPG game "Bedlam" (which are ( inspired by games such as FTL, X-Com and The Banner Saga) . Well, i was right. Because Bedlam runs on the same engine that Stoic ´s "The Banner Saga" used. But besides using the same engine as The Banner Saga, there ain´t that many Similarities between the two.
The most obvious thing would of course be the fact that Bedlam has a post-apocalyptic theme (think Fallout or Mad Max). But there´s a cartoon feeling to it (and a large dose of dark humor). That´s a nice mix, no doubt about that.
But will it be enough to reach the $130,000 goal line on Kickstarter? That´s what i wonder right now. Bedlam has had a really good start on Kickstarter though. Because the game has already collected $39,000. And there´s still 28 days left on the Kickstarter watch.
So if Bedlam keeps this up. Then the game should be funded rather quickly. And if that´s the case, then Bedlam will be released sometime next year.
Press release:
Austin, USA -- September 25th, 2014 -- Stoic announced today that Skyshine Games has licensed itsproprietary game engine built for PC smash-hit and Geekie Award Winner, The Banner Saga to create BEDLAM, a role playing turn-based strategy game with rogue-like elements and an epic storyline, which launched its Kickstarter campaign today.
“Stoic is excited to support BEDLAM with our engine and eager to see what Skyshine Games can do with it. We love the concept of the game and are happy that some of the ground that we broke with The Banner Saga is now going to contribute to another great project”, said John Watson from Stoic.
“The Banner Saga Engine and Tools have allowed us to hit the ground running, giving us a lot of flexibility in realizing the unique vision for our own game. Stoic has been an enormous support for us with BEDLAM and as a fellow independent developer, they have provided us with invaluable knowledge gained from their own successful experience. Skyshine Games could not have asked for a better partnership and we hope it continues for a very long time”, said John Mueller from Skyshine Games.
The Banner Saga, which recently had a price move to $19.99 is currently in the final stages of development for release on mobile later this month. Bedlam which kicked off it’s Kickstarter campaign today is scheduled for release in 2015.
About BEDLAM:
Centuries in the future, mankind’s quantum advancements have been inevitably overcome by consumerism, greed and war. The resulting catastrophic clash of beliefs and scientific fusions have ravaged the planet, leaving most of the planet a toxic snarl of scorched earth called Bedlam. The colossal megatropolis of Byzantine is one of the few remaining bastions of civilization and it is here where the game BEDLAM begins.
As the last remaining Mechanic and pilot of Boneshaker, the colossal Dozer with its ten-thousand ton engines,
players are responsible for transporting passengers through the vast expanse of desolation that surrounds Byzantine, to Aztec City, the supposed utopia beyond the barren divide.
By gathering a motley crew of humans, mutants, robots, cyborgs and other creatures, players can send their soldiers into battle or other areas to explore, gathering valuable items, information and other recruits to help them overcome the various perils encountered during their journey. Powerful weapons and technologies will be discovered and when equipped, give the player access to devastating attacks during battle or even the ability to cheat death, resurrecting their favorite lost soldiers. Grab the wheel Mechanic! Assemble your crew and off to hell you go! Protect your passengers at all cost, you only get paid if you’re alive!
Spelunky Metroid Mod - A great mix of Metroid and Spelunky
Pure platform perfection to the bone!
There´s no doubt (whatsoever) that Spelunky are a great platform game on it´s own. But when i heard about the Spelunky Metroid Mod. My jaw just dropped to the floor. Yes, it´s that DAMN good. Because the mod has taken the best parts of Metroid and Spelunky, and mixed them all together.
And that has given us the uber great mod (game) called "Spelunky Metroid Mod". A mod thatyou can't afford to miss really. At least not if you love action and platform games.
MOD DESCRIPTION:
"Spelunky Metroid Mod alters the graphics, music and text to a Metroid theme. SMM does not(significantly) alter gameplay. Some things are a little different however, for example bats are now a little harder to see, skeletons now look a little different depending on whether they are live or not, etc.. But basically SMM is purely an aesthetic change to Spelunky."
Destiny Bro! - Mashed
Nope, there´s NO similarities whatsoever between Halo and Destiny.
Bungie sure had a impossible task infront of them with to Destiny. which would be to top their own creation, which of course would be "Halo". And against all odds (and millions and millions of dollars), things went rather well for Destiny (both review and sell wise).
But let´s be honest. There are quite a few similarities between Destiny and Halo. And the best comment i´ve heard on the topic would be this one "Destiny is like Halo but with less story and more loot".
Well, make what you want out of it. But i think Mashed made a really good point on the subject with their new video "Destiny Bro!". So, check it out ;)
Wow will soon allow resurrection of deleted characters
Wow, soon to be a "little" more alive.
Normally, people tend to complain as soon as Blizzard updates or changes anything. Especially when it concerns World of Warcraft. But this time there´s not that many complains. Because Blizzard will release a Wow patch that will enable the resurrection of deleted characters.
And that´s a good thing. Beacuse that´s something that the Wow players been asking for (and for quite sometime too). So i guess that means that there will be quite a few resurrections in Wow from now on.
"In the upcoming pre-Warlords of Draenor content patch, we’re adding a new feature that allows players to undelete characters. But before you delete that character, there are a few limitations we want you to let you to know about first.
Undeleting a character restores all of its enchantments, gems, and items fully intact. You’ll be able to get back into action right away, and your character won’t remember being deleted—we won’t tell, either."
- Characters under level 10 and Death Knights at level 55 are not eligible to be undeleted.
- Characters between level 10 and level 29 will no longer be recoverable after 90 days.
- Characters between level 30 and 49 will no longer be recoverable after 120 days.
- All other characters level 50 and above are eligible to be undeleted at any time.
- Please keep in mind you will only be able to use the undelete option once every 30 days.

Battle Realms Legends - From the makers of the original game

Will Battle Realms Legends be able to reach the $100,000 goal?
Ed Del Castillo are a name that i´ve know for years. Because Ed just happens to be the mind behind games such as Command And Conquer (the original game), Command and Conquer Red Alert, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Battle Realms.
Which just happens to be some of the best RTS games ever created. And guess who´s back with a brand new game? That´s right. Ed Del Castillo and his team at Liquid Entertainment. This time it´s a RPG card game though, and it´s called "Battle Realms Legends".
That sure sounds great. There is however a "tiny" little catch to all this. And that would be the $100,000 that Liquid Entertainment needs to collect via Kickstarter. Or else there will be no Battle Realms Legends. But Ed and his team has come a long way.
In fact, Battle Realms Legends are almost 50% funded ($10,000). And there´s still 20 days left on the Kickstarter watch. So, yeah. I believe that Battle Realms Legends will reach the 100K goal line on time.
About Battle Realms Legends:

Play against friends in competitive, live action PVP. Customize your hero with stats, talent trees, and equipment. Collect and upgrade unit cards. Hotline London - Jonathan Cozzo´s version of Hotline Miami
Say hello to the London version of Hotline Miami.
I´m starting to doubt that we will see Dennaton Games controversial game "Hotline Miami 2" this year. I mean, in less than two weeks, it´s October. But then again. So far Devolver Digital hasn´t changed the release date for Hotline Miami 2.
In fact, the game still has a 2014 release on Steam. Oh well, time will tell i guess. But in the meantime you can enjoy Jonathan Cozzo´s awesome short film "Hotline London" ;)
"One night, one phone call, one mission. Double take.
A modern day take on the awesome retro video game ‘Hotline Miami’, taking place in the land of the Queen, fish and chips, bad weather and gentlemen.
YOU KNOW THE DRILL: PLAY IT LOUD ON YOUR HEADPHONES AND FULLSCREEN."
Warlocks - The alpha demo
Warlocks are a mix of many different genres and games. Heart of Darkness was the first game that came to my mind when i played the game.
Last night i had the great pleasure to try the extended demo for One More Level´s 2D action brawler "Warlocks". What can i say, i had a blast. Because Warlocks reminded me of so many great games.
Titles such as "Heart of Darkness", "Wonder Boy", "Golden Axe" and "Populous the Beginning", to name a few. And Warlocks are a really fun and addicting game as well. I also like the pixel graphics and the music.
I should also point out that there´s a ton of attack combos, weapons and items that you can use in Warlocks. And you can play as 6 different characters, so, yeah. There´s a lot of cool stuff to experience in Warlocks.
But enough of that, please enjoy our video folks =)
Gamer cloths are the new black
That´s a pretty darn cool dress if you ask me.
It´s nothing new that people have been wearing Gamer and Geek cloths. It´s been around for ages. But it seems like that kind of cloths are starting to become mainstream (read "cool"). Because even the rich and famous (Robin Williams was a well known Gamer for example.
That´s why his daughter was named "Zelda") have started to wear Gamer and Geek cloths in public, on set and on camera. But most of the time the cloths has been aimed towards the male population. Well, the times seems to be changing. And funny enough.
Earlier today a female friend of mine was fast to point out (today) that Black Milk Clothing are selling both Gamer dresses and swimsuits. And i have to say that they looked really fine and cool imo. So if you have a Gamer girlfriend (or if you are a Gamer girl yourself), then you might wanna buy some kick ass Gamer cloths from Black Milk Clothing =)
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - The evil begins early 2015
Resident Evil: Revelations wasn´t a bad game really. At least not the 3DS version, (which has a 83.50% average grade via gamerankings at the moment). I can't answer for the other versions of Revelations though. Anyhow, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 are a whole nother story.
But at least Claire Redfield are back in biz again. And i have to say that i get good vibes from Revelations 2. All the footage that i´ve seen so far, made me think about the good Ol´ Resident Evil days. However, i am somewhat concerned over the fact that Capcom are working on several RE titles at the very sametime.
In this case, Revelations 2 and Resident Evil: Remastered. But hopefully that won´t effect the quality of the games. Well, we will all know by the very beginning of next year. Because that´s when Capcom will release Revelations 2 world wide.
About Resident Evil: Revelations 2:
The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favorite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return. Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organisation Terra Save. Moira Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office.
Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and awaken later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility. Working together, they must find out who took them and to what sinister end. With the terrifying Afflicted enemies waiting around every dark corner, players will need to use their ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style. Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what's led to them being taken to this remote island? Who else will they come across? A story of twists and turns will have players guessing the next step at every turn.
NBA 2K15 - The ultimate NBA game
Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder) are on the front cover of NBA 2K15.
This years fight between NBA Live (15, which are set for a release on the 31th of October in EU) and NBA 2K (15), will be a very interesting game within the game. Because this year 2K Sports might just have made THE ultimate NBA game.
Yes, i´m of course talking about NBA 2K15. Which are said to have over 5,000 new animations (if you buy the nextgen edition of NBA 2K15 that is), the game are also said to offer a ultra-realistic gameplay experience. And i´m ready to believe those statements.
At least if NBA 2K15 are anything like the momentous trailer. So, which game will you buy? And who will win between NBA Live 15 and NBA 2K15?
About NBA 2K15:
Nominated for 70 'Game of the Year' Awards, NBA 2K is the ultimate basketball simulation experience. Featuring 2013-14 NBA MVP Kevin Durant on the cover, NBA 2K15 hits the court with unprecedented life-like graphics, ultra-realistic NBA gameplay, and more.
Warlocks are close to $17,000 on Kickstarter!
Will Warlocks be able to see the day of light? I sure hope so!
Not so long ago i wrote about the One More Level´s (which would be a Polish indie developer studio btw) action RPG/brawler game "Warlocks". And due the fact that Warlocks are very close to 17K on Kickstarter, i thought it´s about time that i do a news update on the game. And the timeing couldn´t have been better either.
Because i will get the chance to record the extended Warlocks demo today. So i hope that i can help One More Level to get closer to their $25,000 goal on Kickstarter. And they will need all the help they can get, because there´s just 7 days left on the Kickstarter watch now.
And btw, don´t forget to try the web demo of Warlocks ;)
Press release:
Krakow, Poland - September 25, 2014 - One More Level S.A are pleased to announce that Warlocks, currently on Kickstarter, has received more than $16,000 in funding with seven days left to go on their campaign.
"I'm thrilled that people believe in our game, our web demo has been played by over 8 thousand players!" said Max Strzelecki, lead programmer at One More Level S.A., "We'd like to thank all of the backers who have pledged on our game so far and to the media who have covered our game. We still have a week left on our campaign and we'd love to reach some stretch goals and bring Warlocks to the PS4."
Warlocks is an action RPG/brawler game set in a fantasy world invaded by shadow monsters. Playing as an incredibly powerful Warlock and, by using magic skills and weapons, you fight through hordes of enemies. The game places great focus on co-op and versus play between players, where you can fight in 1-4 player DeathMatch or in teams of 1v1 or 2v2.
In the singleplayer/co-op campaign you have to clear your way through 6 different dimensions with unique enemies, bosses, and environments. You level up your character by slaying evil monsters and getting better and better items.

Life is strange - A supernatural point and click game
Max are the lead character of Life is Strange. And she has the ability to to rewind time.
"Remember Me" wasn't exactly a great game (the game had a average score of 73,33% to PS3, 68,73% for 360 and 67,06% to PC). But at least DONTNOD Entertainment tried to think outside the box. Just the fact that the choose to have female lead (that´s actually a decent "none" sexistic female character)., deserves a star in my book.
Even though Capcom may be done with DONTNOD, Square Enix are giving the studio a chance with their game new point-and-click game "Life is Strange" (which will be a episodic game). It´s nothing like Remember Me. But there are some tiny similarities. Because in Life is Strange, you (the player) once again play as a stronge female character
But that´s also where the similarities ends with Remember Me. Because Max (the lead character of Life is Strange) has supernatural powers. Or to be exact, she can rewind time. And that´s interesting on it´s own, but there seems to be a heavy storyline to Life is Strange as well.
So if we are lucky, we might get a really nice mix of both adventure, drama and sci-fi in Life is Strange. Let´s hope that´s the case. Sadly enough, there´s no release date for the game yet. But Life is Strange will be released to PC, PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbox One.
Life is Strange is the compelling story of Max, a Senior photography student who suddenly discovers she is able to rewind time. She uses her power to save the life of Chloe, her childhood friend, whom she has not seen in five years. For Chloe it’s been a turbulent time and she’s been drifting off course since her father’s tragic death.
The reunion will turn their lives upside down, as increasingly strange events plague the small town of Arcadia Bay both teenagers find themselves involved in a grim investigation into the mysterious disappearance of a high school student.

Quake Remake - Part 3 - Why i hate fanboys - The Necropolis
Ah, yes. Fanboys, they have been around since the dawn of time pretty much. And i can´t say that their much better than haters or internet trolls. Because they can actually be both trolls and haters and the sametime.
But here´s the thing, fanboys are more hateful now than ever before. And it´s not "just" a Gaming related thing anymore either. Samething goes for smartphones, hardware and software.
For ex, the whole thing with iOS Vs Android, or Windows Vs, Linux and Mac OS. But i have to say that the most hateful fanboys are to be found in the PC and console camp. It´s rather sad really, i mean. Why can´t we just game and be happy instead?
I remember the days when me and my friends switched consoles over the weekends. I for ex didn´t own a Snes back in the early 90s. But my friend did, so i borrowed his Snes.
And he got my Mega Drive II in return. I honestly think people spend way to much time hating on this and that. Enjoy life instead, and try different kinds of consoles and formats.
Who knows, you might even like it?

Leo Vegas - Malin Berås enjoys the freedom of choose
Miss Malin Berås. Enjoying the campfire and some gambling excitement at Leo Vegas.
I honestly had no idea that there were a monopoly on gambling in Norway? Apparently it´s a big no no for athletes (i guess the samething goes for celebrities?) to promote foreign gambling companies. But at least Malin Berås (a famous Norwegian trotting star) don´t have to worry about that. Because she now stars in Leo Vegas new tv-commercial.
I just wish that i could join her at the sunny beach. Because it´s starting to get rather cold in Sweden now. Oh well, maybe i could win some cash at Leo Vegas? And buy myself a ticket to the sun?
Underworld: Drug Lords - Become a Kingpin on your mobile
Way back in time there was a game called "Gangsters" (a strategy game) and "Kingpin" (a FPS game). Well, i played both games quite a lot at the time. Because i have always liked the gangster theme pretty much. But to be honest, i can´t say that i have played that many mobile gangster games.
But perhaps studio A-Steroids "Underworld: Drug Lords" (it´s a gangster management game for Android) will change that? Guess i have to give it a try and find out!, Drug Lords are a F2P title btw.
Press release:
(Vilnius, Lithuania / Saint Petersburg, Russia) -- 24th September, 2014 -- Internationally operating indie game studio A-Steroids announced that their newest online free-to-play mobile drug dealing simulator Underworld: Drug Lords, a full scale sequel to the original title created back in 2008, is now available on Google Play.
Players start off as a corner street hustler, buying cheap merchandise from local drug labs, and selling for profit to junkies and other live dealers, simultaneously building respect on the street level. Rank up from a small time street peddler to a global drug kingpin, using money, power and influence to build your multi-billion criminal empire. “We are thrilled that after having so many obstacles on our way we finally managed to bring Underworld: Drug Lords to life”, said Andrey Podoprigora, founder and CEO of A-Steroids. “Having been on the Google Play for only a month we are excited to have attracted over 100k active users which makes competition at location-enriched leaderboards that much more fierce.”
Optimised for Android devices and designed with location-based mechanics, Underworld: Drug Lords is a resource-management game that allows players to trade with real live people as they chat online with local dealers to negotiate the best prices. As players move up the dealing hierarchy, they hire runners and bookkeepers to increase volume and launder dirty cash. Bribe the police with hard cash or use gadgets and accessories to wiretap police radio to avoid unwanted busts. Likewise, buy warehouses and business fronts to increase storage and divert attention.
Make your way to the top of the drug food chain, as you compete to be the most prominent pusher of the hood in location-enriched leaderboards. Compete mercilessly with friends or in a team to build your underworld empire from a local peddler to country drug baron and ultimately move to the overseas market and dominate the world.
From Underworld: Drug Lords to Underworld: SweetDeal - The History of the Franchise
The original Underworld: Drug Lords was released in 2008 during the smartphone explosion. After the English press debates its controversial drug-focused content in both the gaming and mainstream media, the original Underworld: Drug Lords was rejected by the App Store. Finally A-Steroids swapped drugs for candy with LSD turning into donuts, ecstasy transforming into lollipops and cocaine changing into chocolate waffles and Underworld: SweetDeal was launched on the App Store in April 2009.
Consequently, the sequel Underworld: Drug Lords is currently available only on Google Play with an adapted theme for the iOS version named Underworld: Sugar Wars, launching in the following weeks.

Shadowrun Dragonfall: Director's Cut - Part 2
Yep, super mutant trolls DO exist in the universe of Shadowrun.
And i thought the super mutants from Fallout were bad. Well, it seems like there exists super mutant trolls in the universe of Shadowrun. That´is at least the first thing that came to my mind when i meet this gigantic troll last night.
I mean, big, ugly, carrying a minigun and a heavy bodyarmor. That´s a super mutant in my book. But due the fact that it was a troll, a super mutant troll would be a better description.
Well, you get the idea. So, please enjoy part 2 of my Shadowrun Dragonfall: Director's Cut series =)

The headset looks really good. But are they comfy? And how good are the sound?

The Secret Cove are set for a release sometime next year (for PC, MAC, iOS and Android).

Which would be a interactive 3D point and click adventure game (think Myst). Which focus heavily on the story of a smuggler´s lost treasure. A treasure that you (the player) are out to find. And that will of course be easier said than done.
But that's the way a adventure game should be. Puzzles, problem solving and intense brain workout programs. Anyhow, The Secret Cove will hit the market sometime next year. So keep your eyes open for it!

Things just ain´t going Blizzards way at the moment. Wow are bleeding players, and struggling really hard to compete with all the new Mmo games on the market. And now this. Yes, it´s true. Blizzard has officially cancelled their mysterious Mmo project called "Titan".
Why? Well, obviously things didn´t workout the way Blizzard wanted it to. And keep in mind that Titan has been under development for over 7 years now. But this is what Blizzard´s CEO Mike Morhaime had to say about Blizzard axing Titan:
So basically Blizzard feelt no good vibes at all from the Titan project. Or simply put, it was an forever in the making project that got nowhere. And i don´t even dare to think about all the money Blizzard must have burned on Titan project over the past 7 years.
Oh well, easy come, easy go. In Blizzards case, It's back to the drawing board i guess. Don´t forget to check out the Polygon interview with Blizzard btw.

TinyKeep - Part 2 - Stupid prisoners and burning corpses
At first i had no idea (whatsoever) what function the prisoners would have in TinyKeep. Well, i´m still not sure what their good for. Because the one´s i´ve meet so far, have been both stupid and suicidal xD
Then we got the part with the "burning corpses". Don´t ask me why, but i find it rather entertaining to set fire to the corpses in the game. Oh well, we all got our bad sides ;)
So, please enjoy part 2 of my TinyKeep series!
Microsoft drops the Xbox One price in UK
Will the price drop help Xbox One to sell more units in the UK?
Microsoft has officially dropped the Xbox One price to the low value of £329.99. This bundle doesn't include a Kinect sensor or any games. Having said that, retailers are starting to match the price, with a White Xbox One and Sunset Overdrive bundle listed on Amazon for £329.
This doesn't come off as a very big surprise as Microsoft has fallen very far back in the flanks as far as the console war is concerned with Sony and the Playstation 4. They've even dropped to the point that they HAD to release the Xbox One without the kinect to In order to move product.
With their debut in China having been pushed back to nearly 2015, it's unknown what the software developer is going to do to catch up-- and do to steak the lead away from Sony. If they're counting on Halo 5 and the Halo Master chief coll. To put up numbers, they may be waiting a while.
Are you excited about the UK price drop? If so give us details in the comments!
The Tomorrow Children - Minecraft goes post-apocalyptic
There was a lot of interesting and impressive games at this years TGS event. But it seems like a lot of people have overlooked Q-Games sandbox game "The Tomorrow Children" (for PS4). Sure, TTC made headlines after Gamescom this year.
But still, not that many game sites (or magazines for that matter) have talked about TTC. And that´s kind of sad i think, because TTC seems to have a lot of potential. I mean, the game are a mix of Minecraft, social economics, collaborative building, and then you got a Soviet Union post-apocalyptic dystopia theme on top of that.
So, yeah. The Tomorrow Children are one hell of a cool mix. At least the TGS trailer made a big impression on me.
The Witcher adventure game - A awesome RPG board game
As we all know. The Witcher 3 won´t see the day of light before the 24th of February next year (for PC, PS4 and Xbox One). And that´s a pretty long time to wait. But some lucky The Witcher fans, have gotten the chance to ease their hunger for The Witcher 3.
How? You might ask yourself. By playing the closed beta of The Witcher adventure game (made by CD Projekt Red ) of coure! (which beta keys which GOG handed out) You might have seen the game in action if you watched this years E3 event (at least i did). But if you didn't, then please allow me to explain what the Witcher adventure game are all about.
First of all, it´s a RPG board game. But it´s also a digital game (for PC, MAC, iOS and Android). A project that both CD Projekt Red and GOG are very proud of. Me, i havn´t had the chance to try the game. But i have seen the Witcher adventure game in action, and it´s pretty darn cool imo.
You don´t have to take my word on it though. Just watch the video further down the page instead ;)
"We're really eager to hear your feedback, as the closed beta of The Witcher Adventure Game also serves as the first test of the infrastructure and services of the upcoming GOG Galaxy — GOG.com's DRM-free online gaming platform," - Piotr Karwowski, VP of Online Technologies at GOG.
Players assume the roles of four distinct characters from this series: Geralt of Rivia, monster slayer; Triss Merigold, cunning sorceress; Yarpen Zigrin, dwarven warrior; and Dandelion, roguish bard. Each character has unique skills and multiple ways of overcoming obstacles, but you decide what to do during the game: Do you fight your way to victory, call on your charm, or try your hand at diplomacy?
You can bring enemies around to your point of view with a sword as Geralt - or bribe them with gold and threaten to call on powerful friends as Dandelion. If a situation calls for strength in numbers, Yarpen has his own fellowship of dwarves to command, and Triss can rely on her expert skill with magic to save the day. Each character has its own deck of Development Cards, so each time you play you can discover something new by trying out varied characters and experimenting with different builds.
For example, when playing as Geralt of Rivia, the main hero of the Witcher franchise, you can develop your character either by specializing in brewing and utilizing combat Elixirs, or else by growing your ability to cast powerful Witcher Signs.
A variety of quests invite players to hunt monsters, earn gold and interact with the characters they meet in a web of alliances and treachery. Decide whether you’ll help the other players or look after your own interests first, and keep an eye on the progress of your friends while you carefully work your way towards victory.
RuneScape’s Lost City of the Elves opens its doors to players
Lost City of the Elves are the first ever RuneScape expansion in 13 years.
There has never been a expansion for RuneScape before. But Jagex Game Studios has changed that fact. Because Jagex has just released the "Lost City of the Elves" expansion for RuneScape (a F2P Mmorpg). Which are said to offer the players hundreds of hours worth of gameplay.
And of course new items, weapons, mini-games and much more. You will find full details in the press release down below.
Press release:
RuneScape’s Lost City of the Elves opens its doors to players
23th September 2014: Prifddinas, the high-level content capital of RuneScape - Jagex’s flagship MMO - has finally opened its doors to players.
The crystalline metropolis is the epic conclusion of a quest chain that players first learned about 10 years ago, and culminates with access to a host of exciting new areas to explore, each packed with fresh features for experienced characters to engage with.
Four clan-controlled districts will be available from day one, and in these players will immediately be able to tackle a selection of unique quests, puzzles and battles.
Clan Iorwerth, for example, presents the challenge of slaying 10 bosses sequentially. With each victory, however, comes hardship, as the defeated enemy drops a dark crystal that then debuffs a player in preparation for the next fight in the series.
Less perilous tasks can be found in Clan Trahaearn’s zone where the introduction of Seren Stones allows characters to work up their mining and smithing skills.
Further around the circular structure of the city you’ll encounter Clan Cadarn and its Max Guild Garden, where the dedicated can top out their skills and, ultimately, earn themselves a place on the Throne of Fame.
Last, but by no means least, Clan Crwys brings a more earthy appeal to farmers and woodcutters allowing them access to the elder tree patch, as well as unlocking a third spirit tree.
In addition to the clan zones, there’s a sizable spread of city-wide activities including: activating and adding missing pieces to the Golden Shattered Heart Statue; exploring the mysteries of the Memoriam Chamber; and racing between districts in order to receive experience and yield boosts from the Voice of Seren.
“It’s an incredible amount of content,” said Phil Mansell, vice president of RuneScape, “and the team is working around the clock to double this by the end of 2014. It’s also pleasing to reflect that if it wasn’t for the success of our Player Power initiative, the Elf City may well have not emerged into the light. This was, by far, the most desirable piece of content for our fans and we’re delighted to offer them the keys to this new kingdom today.”
The second half of the Lost City of the Elves is scheduled to be unlocked later this year, opening up the Hefin, Meilyr, Ithell, and Amlodd clan districts, along with even more high-level content.

Tasha - The cosplay queen from South Korea
About 1 year ago. I made a video about cosplay babes ("Top 100 Cosplay Babes"), and, well. A lot of things have changed since then. Let´s just say that I have gotten to know quite a few women that works as professional cosplayers.
And I have to say that my nr 1 favorite cosplayer to date, are miss Tasha (Team Spiral Cats) from South Korea. Cuz not only are she talented as hell and beautiful (and super fit!). Tasha also just happens to cosplay a lot of my video game characters as well.
Just take her Starcraft Queen of blades (Sarah Kerrigan) cosplay for example. That´s one of the most high detailed and cool cosplays, that I have ever seen. So If you like cosplay, and wanna se more pictures of Tasha.

Plus a large dose of dark humor on top of that. Don´t get fooled by the looks of TinyKeep though, it´s a rather hard game (at times). I died at stage 3 for ex (i faced a large skeleton boss).
Anyhow, please enjoy part 1 of TinyKeep folks =) And yes, Scottish women ftw! ;)
