Until Dawn - The horrors awaits you on the mountain

until dawn
I wonder how scary Until Dawn will be?

For the last two weeks i´ve been hearing people talk about nothing else than horror games. That´s perfectly understandable though, it´s almost Halloween afterall. And i like horror games, so i don´t mind really. It´s just that i can´t really say that i´ve played that many good horror games lately (new titles).

But then i heard about Supermassive Games horror game "Until Dawn" (yes, you guess it. It´s a PS4 exclusive). Yes, i know. It was showcased at E3 this summer. But i never really picked up on it. But then i saw the 10 minute long developer gameplay session from EGX London.

And i feelt "some" potential for Until Dawn. Because it gave me some "Saw" vibes (and i have to say that the Saw series are pretty creepy and scary at times). So Until Dawn seems to offer that kind of horror experience (the brutal "in your face" kind).

Sadly enough though, Until Dawn won't be released until sometime next year. But hopefully there will be more gameplay videos for the game in the near future. But what do you guys think about Until Dawn so far?

About Until Dawn:
When eight friends are trapped on a remote mountain retreat and things quickly turn sinister, they start to suspect they aren’t alone. Gripped by fear and with tensions in the group running high, you’ll be forced to make snap decisions that could mean life, or death, for everyone involved.

Every choice you make in your terrifying search for answers – even the seemingly trivial ones – will carve out your own unique story. With spine-tingling performances from a Hollywood cast including Hayden Panettiere (Heroes, Nashville) brought to life with the power of PlayStation®4 – your actions alone will decide who survives Until Dawn.

The launch of PlayStation TV - Will it succeed or fail?

playstation tv
Is Playstation TV really worth the price of $99.99? Well, the Lego movie bundle caught my attention.

Yesterday Sony launched the all so famous and hypéd PlayStation TV (at the starter price of $99.99). And even though it´s just been 24 hours since the launch, there´s plenty of critcs already. I mean, it´s a brilliant idea (no doubt about that). But will Playstation TV really have a chance against all the competitors that´s already on the market?

Then there´s the fear that PlayStation TV will kill the PS Vita as well. Some say it´s the other way around though, that PlayStation TV will help the PSV to grow. So i don´t know, this is something out of a gamble from Sonys side.

I can´t denay the fact that PlayStation tv has some pretty rad features though. I mean, it literally works as a second console in your home. So you can play games on it, stream movies, download apps and whatnot (via the Playstation Store).

But what do you guys think about PlayStation TV? And will you buy it?

LittleBigPlanet 3 - Sumo Digital aims for the stars

ps4 littlebigplanet 3
LittleBigPlanet 3 are set for a release to PS3 and PS4 on the 19th of November (UK).

It sure can´t be a easy task to top LittleBigPlanet 2. But that´s exactly what Sumo Digital tries to do with LBP3. And so far, it´s hard to say if they have succeeded or not. I have to admit that i really liked the E3 and Gamescom 2014 trailer though.

And due the fact that LBP3 will be released in November. I just thought that it could be a good idea to do a little LBP3 update/recap. Because there seems to be quite a few questions about LP3. For example, can you transfer your LBP 1 and 2 characters (and creations) to LBP3?

The answer would be yes. IF you´re on the same PSN account that is. Then people of course wonder what´s new in LBP3. Well, now you can create stuff with the touchpad on the PS4 controller. And it´s easier than ever before to share your creations.

It´s also very easy to jump in and out of games (that other people has created). Then there´s a handful of new characters in LBP3 as well (Toggle, OddSock and Swoop). But will that be enough to satisfy the LBP´s fans? And is there really enough new features in LBP3 to top LBP2?

I also heard that the PS4 edition of LBP3 will require Playstation Plus (if you wanna play online that is), and that´s something that has annoyed a lot of people. So, yeah. It´s going to be rather interesting to see what LittleBigPlanet 3 can deliver in November.

But what do you guys think about LBP3 so far? And will you get the game?

If that´s the case, then you probarly don´t wanna miss out on the LBP3 pre-order bonus (via Amazon GameStop and Best Buy for ex). Because you will get 17 exclusive Sackboy costumes if you do.

Some of those are:
- Journey
- Jak and Daxter
- Sly Cooper
- Patapon
- Teraway
- Ratchet and Clank
- LocoRoco

About LittleBigPlanet 3:
In LBP3, Sackboy is transported to a new planet called Bunkum, a creative paradise where abundant ideas drift through the sky. Unwittingly, Sackboy helps release three mythical creatures called the Titans who aim to ruin Bunkum and transform the world's most unskilled Creator, Newton, into a terrible monster. To restore balance to the land, Sackboy is going to need help in the form of Bunkum's ancient heroes: Toggle, OddSock and Swoop.

Features:
New Playable Characters: Three new playable characters - Toggle, OddSock and Swoop - each with their own unique set of skills. Toggle comes in two forms, Big and Little. Big Toggle is heavy and strong, capable of weighing down platforms and moving heavy objects. Little Toggle is nimble and fast, perfect for fitting through small gaps. OddSock is a fast, agile wall-jumping character, while Swoop can fly and glide at high speeds and lift up objects with her talons.
Four-Player Online/Offline Multiplayer: Play both the Adventure mode - designed using solely Create tools - or download any of the User Generated Levels to play with up to four friends via couch co-op or online via random matchmaking.
Powerful, Accessible, New Create Tools: Create mode has been completely redesigned with powerful new tools, including customizing how each of the four playable characters look and play, giving the community even more options to massively expand UGC possibilities. Creating is also easier than ever before with new advancements like the DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller Touch Pad for a more tactile creative experience.
Fresh Next-Gen Experience: The PS4 system offers greater functionality, advanced gameplay performance, and upgraded graphical fidelity with four times the pattern texture resolution and added depth of field, all in full HD 1080p. Leveraging key PS4 system features, LBP3 offers players the best LBP experience to date.
Share More! Building upon the strong LBP community at the heart of the franchise, LBP3 offers even more ways for players to share their experiences. Through the SHARE button on the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller, players can now instantly share their latest feat or edit and publish video clips straight from the game.
Cohesive LBP Platform Community: LBP3 offers players on the PS4 platform access to over 8.5 million previously published UGC community levels for an expansive, interconnected community.

Wild - Michel Ancel´s new game

wild ps4
Wild are a PS4 exclusive game. At least for now.

I was probably not the only one that thought that Michel Ancel would have unviveld Beyond good And Evil 2 during E3 this summer. But as we all know, that was not the case. Instead, Ancel presented his (and Wild Sheep Studio´s) action/adventure game "Wild (for the PS4).

And even though the very first Wild video got released back in August. Very little are known about Wild. There´s however some details about the game. Like the fact that the game are 100% devoted to the wilderness, and that it´s set 10,000 years ago (when nature and mankind was one).

That sounds pretty cool. But i (just like everyone else) got a lot of questions that´s unanswered. Like for example, are Wild a open world game? (most likely yes). Can you tame and breed animals? (i bet you can).

And will there be a Co-op online function? Or perhaps even online games? (PvP battles). Let´s just say that i´m eager to learn more about Wild. I shall see what i can dig up for you boys and girls ;)
