Xbox One get´s yet another price drop
Could the Xbox One become THE console of this years Christmas holidays?
It seems like Microsoft wants to go head on with Sony and their Playstation 4. Because MS will have yet another price drop ($50) for their Xbox One console (by the end of the year). I can´t say that i´m surprised to hear this though.
Because Xbox One has done pretty bad in most parts of EU and Asia (minus China). The US sales has been pretty good though, but one good game don´t put you in the hall of fame. And right now, the PS4 is dominating the global market.
So i honestly don´t know if a price drop will change the outcome that much for the Xbox One. One thing is for sure though. The Christmas season will be very, very important for Xbox One. And IF MS manage to sell a lot of Xbox One units during the holidays.
That alone could become the big turning point that the Xbox One so much needs. A real game changer so to speak. But just like always, it´s ALL about the games. It´s the games that sells the console, not the other way around.
So if MS want´s to sell more Xbox One´s. They better get a solid lineup of epic games asap!

Phantom Dust - The remake for Xbox One
I wonder what the Phantom dust remake will be like?
Way back in time Microsoft released the original version of Phantom Dust (a action/strategy game) in Japan (back in 2004). Then Majesco released the game in US in year 2005. And the game did really well (Phantom Dust has a average score of 83.32% via GameRankings for example).
The most intressting thing about Phantom Dust would of course be the fact that Yukio Futatsugi (Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon II: Zwei, and Panzer Dragoon Saga) worked on the game. Well, if you´re a fan of Phantom Dust, then you probably didn't miss out on the remake announcement at E3 this year.
I also found a FB page and a homepage for Phantom Dust (the homepage seems to be dead at the moment). But other than that, there´s not much on the news front. So i don´t know if that means that Yukio (and his team at Microsoft Studios) are hard at work with the Remake.
Or that the project has been put on ice. If any of our readers have any more information about the Phantom Dust remake, then please feel free to comment, or contact us about it.
China is selling more Xbox One's than Japan!
only having sold roughly 20,000 units to date so far, Microsoft isn't too happy with Japan's performance but we'll get to that in a little bit. On the other hand, China having recently lifted their console ban has seen immense growth, and is flourishing under the Microsoft banner.
They've sold over 100,000 consoles so far, and it doesn't appear to be stopping. The desire to simply have a console available is the reason Chinese consumers have indulged in the Xbox One--that is to say bought into the company.

Quantum Break - Remedys revolutionary action game
Quantum Break are still a TBA title for Xbox One (yes, it´s a exclusive Xbox One game).
Way back in 2013 (summer) i wrote about Remedy Entertainments upcoming action game "Quantum Break". But it´s been rather quite since then. In fact, i forgot about the game. But then i saw the gameplay demo at this years Gamescom event.
And i started to get a "bit" excited about Quantum Break again. Not everyone seems to be impressed by the Gamescom 2014 demo though. I saw this comment by Heikki360ES on Youtube for ex:
"I'm sorry, but i don't like it. I love Max Payne. I love Alan Wake. But i don't like what we've seen so far about Quantum Break. I mean, the gunfire. It doesn't look polish at all, too quick, bad IA, and i'm not sure about the freeze time power.
In my opinion, that should be something special, something you do once in a while. Looks so overpowered. Alan Wake gunfire wasn't something special, but it worked flawlessly from minute 1. I can't say the same about this one."
And he/she had a really good point. But just like always, i want to try the game in question before i nail down the flaws and so on. So, what do you guys think about Quantum Break so far? Cool or nah?
About Quantum Break:
Developed exclusively for Xbox One, Quantum Break blurs the line between television and gameplay, integrating the two into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience. From Remedy Entertainment, the critically acclaimed creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne, comes a revolutionary entertainment experience that weaves the cinematic action of intense gameplay with the tension and drama of scripted television, creating a world where each has a direct impact on the other.
In Quantum Break, our desperate hero fights a highly personal battle to save the future before time literally runs out. As time breaks down, impossible, split-second moments of destruction turn into epic stages of time-powered action. The actions you take, and the choices you make, shape your experience as the narrative unfolds. As you play, a personalized "director's cut" of the show is created just for you, based on the decisions you make during the game. Quantum Break will lead the new generation of interactive entertainment, as the show and game deliver a holistic entertainment experience made possible only on Xbox One.
Microsoft drops the Xbox One price in UK
Will the price drop help Xbox One to sell more units in the UK?
Microsoft has officially dropped the Xbox One price to the low value of £329.99. This bundle doesn't include a Kinect sensor or any games. Having said that, retailers are starting to match the price, with a White Xbox One and Sunset Overdrive bundle listed on Amazon for £329.
This doesn't come off as a very big surprise as Microsoft has fallen very far back in the flanks as far as the console war is concerned with Sony and the Playstation 4. They've even dropped to the point that they HAD to release the Xbox One without the kinect to In order to move product.
With their debut in China having been pushed back to nearly 2015, it's unknown what the software developer is going to do to catch up-- and do to steak the lead away from Sony. If they're counting on Halo 5 and the Halo Master chief coll. To put up numbers, they may be waiting a while.
Are you excited about the UK price drop? If so give us details in the comments!
