Twisted Fusion - A Wii U exclusive platform game

twisted fusion wii u
Twisted Fusion are yet another reason to buy a Wii U.

It's rather easy to miss out on awesome Kickstarter games. Because there´s so many of them. Yes, i know. I shouldn't complain about it really (it would be way worse if it was the other way around). Anyhow, even though Leuvsion´s Kickstarter campaign for their platform game "Twisted Fusion" in April this year (the game collected £4,000 in total).

I didn't find out about it before now. But i´m glad that i did. Because Twisted Fusion seems to be a really uniq and neat open world platformer. And to make things even more interesting. The protagonist are a female (Cora).

And i´m not talking about a bimbo, or the "please save me!" kind of female. I´m talking about the "Samus Aran" kind of female. Sounds great right? Yes indeed, but i should point out that Twisted Fusion are a Wii U exclusive title.

So if you like Twisted Fusion and don´t own a Wii U. Then you know what must be done ;)

About Twisted Fusion:
Twisted Fusion is best described as an 'Open Platformer'; it's not exactly Metroidvania but the entire game is connected without the need to jump to unwieldy menus or maps. Each section of the game is packed with mysterious areas and uncharted paths, giving you plenty of reasons to retrace your steps and use your new gear and abilities to unlock secrets in previously explored areas.

A significant part of Twisted Fusion is its combat; your main attack (Cora's dual water pistols) have unlimited ammo, meaning she always has a means to dispatch her enemies even when her special weapons are depleted - this girl never backs down from a fight!

The game will also include a day/night and weather system; The time of day and weather also has an effect on the way monsters behave. At night for instance, you will encounter bigger and meaner foes whilst in rainy weather, monsters become 'enraged' and will attack with extra ferocity - these critters really hate water! Take up your water pistols and join Cora on her epic adventure across floating islands and through dank dungeons as she fights to find a way home.

Nexis Games unveils the notorious Minecraft clone "U Craft"

u craft
One of the very few pictures of "U Craft".

There´s a whole lot of things going down in the world of Gaming at the moment. And many of them just happens to concern Minecraft. First, you got the whole deal with MS buying Minecraft (And Notch leaving Mojang). And now it´s time to say hello to Nexis Games (the makers of BrickBlast U!, Ride, The dance of the Damned and Ball or Nothing) Minecraft clone for the Wii U.

A game that has been given the fancy name "U Craft". But that´s pretty much all there is to it. A name, and some pictures. However, Nexis Games said (via Twitter) that once they hit 1,000 followers on Twitter. Nexis Games will release the very first gameplay video of U Craft.

So i guess we just have to wait for that one to be released. But what do you guys think? Can U Craft even match Minecraft? Or better yet, top it.

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric - The worst Sonic game to date?

sonic boom rise of lyric
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric are set for a release in EU on November the 21th.

"Haters gonna hate", those words would describe SEGA´s and Big Red Button Entertainmen´s "Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric" rather well. Because that´s what´s going down right now. Well, okay. The hating started months ago, but it seems like the Sonic fans have reached an all time high when it comes to hating on a new Sonic title.

The nr 1 thing that the fans (and Gaming media) hates, is the character design of the game. I mean, what´s up with the super long legs? And what the hell has happened to Knuckles? He looks like a anabola version of his former self

Me, i don´t know. I just can´t get past the design thing. I don´t know about "Shattered Crystal" for the 3DS though. But if i get a chance to play Rise of Lyric, then i´ll give it a fair chance. I´ll give it that much.

About Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric:
In Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy must work together as they face the deadly snake-like ancient villain, Lyric and his army of war mongering robots as they rise from deep within their home island.

Sonic and his team will navigate the world like never before; racing across ancient ruins, through the depths of the ocean and even back in time to save the world from Lyric's evil plan! With a strong emphasis on collaboration, the roles of Tails, Knuckles and Amy, will be elevated in gameplay that capitalizes on each character's unique talents and abilities.

Watch Dogs will be released to the Wii U in November

watch dogs wii u
Yep, Watch Dogs will be released to the Wii U after all. On November the 18th actually (US).

I´we couldn't have been the only one that thought (for a while) that Ubisoft would skip the Wii U entirely. Becaouse things looked very dark for a while. So i honestly thought that there would be no Watch Dogs for the Wii U.

But i´m glad that i was wrong. Because Watch Dogs are set for a release to Wii U in November. November the 18th to be exact (in the States). UK and EU users will have to wait until the 21th of November. Me, i´m just really curious to find out how good (bad) Watch Dogs will look on the Wii U.

Because that´s what everyone "really" wants to know at this moment. Oh well, in November we will know for sure!
