Interwebs troll simulator - It´s time to become a troll!

interwebs troll simulator
The ultimate troll simulator game?

Ah, yes. Trolls, they have been lurking on internet since the dawn of time. They hate everything and everyone, and spit out more negative and hateful comments than anyone else on this planet. Because their whole existence relays on that kind of behaviour.

That´s simply what a troll lives and feeds on. Hate, they breath it 24/7. And there´s probably not one single person (that uses internet on a daily basis) on this planet that haven't encountered a internet troll by now. Let´s face it, whether we like it or not.

The trolls lurk on the internet in the search of a victim (or two). But what makes the trolls clock tick? And how does a troll think and live? Well, we might find that out in Michael Patrick Rogers new game "Interwebs troll simulator" (for PC, and soon MAC and Linux as well"

Because you get the chance to see (and experience) the world through the eyes of a troll in Interwebs troll simulator. So, are you ready to become one with your inner internet troll?

What is Interwebz Troll Simulator??

Interwebz TROLL Simulator is a unique game that transcends genres. Is it a simulator? Is it a comedy? Is it political satire? Is it dead serious?? Is it educational?? Is it even a video game????

Interwebz TROLL Simulator is exactly the opposite of what it sounds, while being exactly what it appears to be!!

Interwebz Troll Simulator gives YOU the power to unleash your Trolling skills, literally with your Troll’sh fingertips. How will you Troll? Will you Troll as a “Know it all Troll”, will you be a “Sexist Homophobe Troll”? It’s totally up to you, and no play through experience is ever the same. Prepare yourself to get educated.

Avenging Angel - A steampunk action adventure game

avenging angel
Because dual wielding are cool as hell.

It seems like the Steampunk genre are on a hot streak at the moment. Because i have honestly lost count over all the Steampunk games that´s in the making at the moment. But i don´t mind having a lot of Steampunk games around, as long as the games are really good and well made.

And that seems to be the case with Dark Amber Softworks Steampunk action/adventure game "Avenging Angel" (the game will be released for PC and Linux during the first quarter of next year). And luckely enough for us there´s a pre-alpha demo of Avenging Angel.

So if you like the trailer for Avenging Angel. Then you should download the demo via IndieDB asap! And don´t forget to support the game on Steam Greenlight.

About Avenging Angel:
Avenging Angel is at its core an "interactive story" set in an imaginary world, but the exploration, experiencing, and participating happens through time tested and familiar FPS dynamics. The story takes place on Planet Earth, in a steampunk setting, roughly 10000 years from our current day and age, where 21st Century has not only passed from history to legend, but also from legend into myth. The game is based on Henri Brandt's "The Land of Strange Gods" -universe.

Features:
- A story-driven adventure FPS set in a steampunk world.
- Two player characters to choose from, male and female (Vincent & Amity)
- Hours of gameplay
- Explore, interact, sneak or fight your way through the island topside and the vast underground facility.
- Dual-wield powerful weapons, both melee and projectile. Unleash the power of the fabled gun-blade, wreak havoc with a grenade launcher, or do both, at the same time.
- A multitude of enemies: deranged automatons, malfunctioning cyborgs, mechanical animals, and the deadly
- QingTing Empire commandos.
- Equip "Goggle Glass" to see through walls, discover hints and secrets invisible to the naked eye.
- Download information and read journals from SoulFire terminals and "Orbnals".
- Mod your weapons into more powerful versions and discover new "Goggle Glass" features.
- Collect and utilise power-up potions such as "Alchemist Sundstroem's Stamina Potion" (contains real reindeer antler extract) and "PowerBolt Energy Potion".
- Play a mini-game to gain access codes to optional areas.
- True full-body immersion

Week One - A uniq zombie survival board game

week one
How long will you be able to survive?

There seems to be some kind of new trend going on right now. Because just a year ago. There was pretty much no zombie board games at all (at least not to my knowledge). But now all of a sudden. There seems to be a new zombie board game on Kickstarter each week (pretty much).

So what makes Meraki Concepts "Week One" different from all the other zombie board games then? Well, a whole lot really. So it´s really sad that the game didn't make it on Kickstarter. I don´t know if Week One will be funded some other way though (paypal, indiegogo and so on).

Because i think that it would be really sad if Week One just fades away...

About Week One Zombie Survival Game:
"In the past, I've played plenty of zombie games. But I have never really gotten the scope and size of a true survival game in any of them. Zombies were always single models. There were only a few buildings. You could get an item from any searchable area. Thus, the games never felt like you were actually surviving anything, but just shooting zombies over and over and looting the same building until you found something you liked.

So my friends and I set out to create a game of significantly larger proportions and scope. Titled, "Week One" it's the first week after all the dust has settled and the major outbreak is over. (Plus, expansions are easily titled as, "Week Two" etc.) Every game is seven (7) days, each with a day and night cycle. These cycles produce various environmental effects and can reduce your party's overall sanity. (Yes, characters have an insane side!) At the end of those seven days, your remaining party members are rescued by the military who are evacuating civilians.

What happens during those days and nights? Well, you need food, weapons, ammo, and most of all, you need to keep your sanity. Oh, and zombies aren't just single models. No sir. They range from 1-5 zombies per token, as many tokens as can fit in a square! Each day has the players surrounded by an ever increasing horde of zombies all marching towards the players' Safe House, the place where the military is going to pick them up. Can they survive all seven days? Will any players succumb to insanity? Will it be a shoot out or a hold up in a building? In addition, random missions occur throughout the days to help keep the games fresh and dynamic."

stash no loot left behind
Will Stash rise from the ashes?

There´s a lot o findie developersthat tries to get a piece of the Kickstarter fortune and fame. But very few make it big, and many end up with nothing. Sadly enough that was the case with Frogdice´s ambitious and creative Mmorpg game "Stash" (for PC, MAC Linux, Xbox One, PS4, OUYA and Wii U).

Because Stash didn´t reach it´s Kickstarter goal of $100,000 on the 10th of August. But in some rare occasions. Games do actually resurrecte from a failed Kickstarter campaign. And guess what? Stash are back from the dead!

With a new Kickstarter campaign. This time Frogdice aim to collect $50,000 (instead of $100,000). So i hope things will workout much better for Stash and Frogdice this time.

Habitat gets major feature updates

habitat
Habitat now also features Steam Workshop Support.

4gency sure ain´t no slackers when it comes to giving their fans and players new content. Because ever since their game "Habitat" got released on Steam in July. 4gency has rolled out tons of improvements and new in game content.

And now it´s time for a really big update. That will give the players a lot of new features in Habitat. You will find all that information and the official press release down below.

Press release:
Indie developer, 4gency, today announced several new updates to Habitat: A Thousand Generations In Orbit. The v0.20 update with a new “HAL” Management System, Combinations, and Advanced Construction Mode is now live and currently available through Steam’s Early Access program. 4gency also announced that they will be supporting Steam Workshop which means that players will be able to build their own custom ‘junk’ for use in-game in the future.

About “HAL” – The Habitat Management Interface
HAL is the system that allows players to tactically manage their creations.

Health, resource production and the new combination system, and management of key habitat properties like rocket throttle settings, fuel usage, and weapon tuning are all presented in a simple and clean way. Time is even stopped so that players are given a chance to learn, think and strategize.

More features will be rolled out in the future including features like citizen and crisis management, upgrading parts, re-wiring of resources, and engineer management.

About Combinations

Accessed in HAL, a new combination system has been added that unlocks certain bonuses for particular configurations of different components.

In this update players can expect bonuses to booster rockets, weapons, and producers like fuel tanks and electrical generators.

The team is also working on future combinations that will allow for advanced weapon systems, auto tracking turrets and shields.

Advanced Construction Mode

As a result of community feedback a precision based construction mode has been added that gives gamers a more reliable control of angles, distances and symmetry to balance their stations in both operation and aesthetics. This will be the default construction mode in the game.

The Habitat HQ

Players now have a Habitat HQ! This is the player’s central hub and houses the Engineer Training Facility, where they can build new engineers for reinforcements. This also makes it a defensive focal point. If the HQ gets destroyed, it’s game over.

As players face more challenges and areas to explore, they will have to balance the need for engineers and resources from the HQ with the risk of putting the HQ in danger.

More uses will be added for the Habitat HQ in the future.

New space junk, gameplay tweaks, and bug fixes have also been added to the update and more functionality will be coming to HAL and the Combination system with future updates.

About Habitat:
An Early Access build for PC, Mac and Linux is now available through Steam, Amazon, Humble Store, GameFly, Gamer's Gate, GreenMan Gaming and Nuuvem priced at $14.99, £10.99 and €14.99.

In Habitat gamers have to build and manage the future homes of humanity from orbital debris they find in space junkyards surrounding Earth’s orbit. Leading their team of engineers, they will have to build and fly space stations in a zero gravity setting, mastering physics driven flight simulation to explore space.

In order to thrive and grow they have to manage their population and their population’s environment. In the event of a threat they will have to turn their space stations into deadly weapons using pieces of debris picked up such as rockets, lasers and particle accelerators to fight and ultimately survive against attacks from the enemy. This is a space survival game where crisis is guaranteed and the only chance for survival is to be creative and decisive in the face of disaster.
