Early access might come to the Playstation platforms

sony adam boyes
Mr Adam Boyes (Sony vice president of publisher).

I can´t say that i´m that much surprised to hear this. I mean, it´s 2014 after all. And i´ve been hearing rumours about a "early access" service for the Playstation platforms, for quite sometime now. And now it seems like Sony will make a reality out of thouse "rumours".

Yes, Sony might actually bring early access to their Playstation platforms. That became somewhat clearer after a interview that Gamasutra did with Sony´s vice president of publisher "Adam Boyes".

And this was some of the things that Boyes said:

“Honestly, we're working through that right now. We're figuring out what's okay,” Boyes says. “We obviously have our tech requirement checklist that people have to adhere to. So we're internally discussing, what does that list look like for this? What are the caveats? Stuff like this.” -  Adam Boyes, Sony vice president of publisher

So what do you guys think? Will Sony release a early access service or not?

Remastered Grim Fandango will be released to PC as well

grim fandango
If the Remastered edition of Grim Fandango becomes a huge success. There might just be a Grim Fandango 2!

I have been waiting over 16 years for a Grim Fandango (the game was released back in 1998) sequel. But there was none. Mainly because of two things. 1. The game didn't sell that well (even though i received great grades and a ton of awards). And 2. By the end of the 90s, Lucasarts decided to turn it´s back on the adventure genre.

And the years just went by. No Grim Fandango 2, no nothing. But then out of nowhere, Double Fine revealed a remastered version of Grim Fandango. That´s great news indeed. But at that time (when they announced the game), the remastered version was a PS4 and PS Vita exclusive title.

Well, that´s not the case anymore. Because just recently Double Fine revealed (via Twitter) that the remade version of Grim Fandango will be released to PC, MAC and Linux as well. Sadly enough though, there´s no release date for the game.

At least not yet.

"Reap your heart out! We're pleased to announce Grim Fandango will also be available on PC, Mac, and Linux alongside PlayStation 4 and Vita!"Double fine via Twitter

"The makers of Grim Fandango discuss the development of the beloved adventure game and how Double Fine Productions plans to release the original classic to a contemporary audience."

EA charges people for downloading game demos?

ea charges for game demos
"Sign in to see your price" Ehrm...Demo EA?

***UPDATE!***
Apparently there was an temporary error in the case with EA Sports UFC to Xbox One. So the demo doesn't cost anything at all to download. So, game on people!

Alright, first of all. I don´t know if there´s any truth at all to this (i Googled it just now. Can´t find anything about the matter). But the word on the street is this. EA are said to be charing people for  for downloading game demos. In this case EA Sports UFC . The demo for UFC are said to cost $4,99 (see the picture above!) to Xbox One.

If that´s true. Then it´s totally insane! No one should have to pay for a video game demo. That´s the whole damn idea behind demos. That they are free, so that people can give it a try and see if it´s their cup of tea or not (then you can decide if you should buy the game in question or not).

What do you guys think about this? And can anyone confirm this story? (Any Xbox One owners in the house?).
