Demon Core - A mix of Wolfenstein and Half-Life
Normaly I don´t take my time and write about games that I don't believe In. But I make an exception this time. Because when I saw Apex Games FPS game "Demon Core" on Indiegogo. I honestly didn't know what to think of It, or If I should laugh or cry.
I know that you shouldn't judge the book by It´s cover. Or that you should diss a game before you tried It. But I mean, come on...Apex Games are asking for 180,000 dollars for Demon Core. A game that looks like a Half-Life mod from the late 90s, early 2000.
So I just get the feeling that the makers just try to rip people off. And once again Russia are the evil guys... Sorry, but I don´t buy this. But If Apex Games still manages to collect 180,000 bucks (against all odds). Then a big congrats to them.
But what do you guys think about Demon Core? Is It epic shit? Or just shit?
About Demon Core:
"Demon Core was the nickname given to a subcritical mass of plutonium that accidentally went critical in two separate accidents at the Los Alamos laboratory in 1945 and 1946. The consequences of these accidents were fatal. After using it in an atomic bomb test in 1946, the term has been almost forgotten in the public, until there was an incident at an undisclosed location near Kemerovo, Russia in 2024. And this one was not like the original. After these incidents, the sphere of any volatile matter has been referred to as the Demon Core.
Demon Core is a story-driven first-person survival action games for the PC and MAC, currently in development by the Finnish development team Apex Games Ltd. The game features an edgy female protagonist; a scientist forced to take up arms when everything falls apart and unique art style combining near-future high technology with exotic Russian design, filled with ornaments, decorations and elegance."
