Tekken 7 - A new Arabic character announced

Not much are known about the arabic Tekken 7 fighter. At least not yet.

Namco Bandai, has announced a new potential character for Tekken 7. Executive producer, and series legend, Katsura Harada took to Facebook to announce the potential character's Involvement in the 7th installment in the iconic series.

The unknown character is of Arabic origin, and has a very Immense backstory. The concept art as shown, is strictly conception, pending feedback from the Arabic fighting game community says Harada. He went on to say, that should this new character be declined, he will be reimagined, or scrapped entirely.

"If the Tekken community, especially those in the middle eastern area, end up liking this character, I would like to feature this character in the game," said Harada.

Before this new potential fighter was announced,  several others were considered and voted upon by fans. These characters included: a female sumo wrestler, a salmon, and a sexy female Paul phoenix. Fans ultimately settled upon Eliza, a vampires with a narcolepsy problem.

My curiosity piqued upon hearing about this character, and it caused me to speculate about his potential storyline. Obviously Zafina from Tekken 6, is the only Arabic character that we've been introduced to. 

But what is she had a relative, a brother or cousin,  who was also an Assassin,  hence the strange costume (yes it does look like an Assassin's Creed uniform). Now should this be true, it could potentially mean that Azazel, from Tekken 6 will return. Either way, it will make for a very Interesting character Introduction when he Is announced, or "approved" by the Arabic community.

Tekken 7 still has a long way go before we see it´s release date, but fans are already eagerly anticipating It's arrival. Many are hopeful for the Mishima arc to end on a positive note, and give closure to the storyline.
