Risk - Factions 360 XBLA
Jag har varit en sucker för risk sen barnsben. Brädspelet är jag mer eller mindre uppvuxen med och pc versionen har man spelat fler talet gånger. Nu är det dags för 360 ägarna att få ta del av Risk universumet. EA gick ut med (via ett pressmeddelande) att skaparna bakom "Magic The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers" Stainless Games, står för utvecklingen av Risk - Factions. Och alla animationerna i spelet har gjorts utav Power House Animation, dom skänker en lite mer humoristisk touch över Risk.
Inom väldigt kort är så är Stainless Games klar med en XBLA version av Risk. Själva uppläget i Risk - Factions är att upp till femspelare kan kriga emot varandra över XBLA. Dock med två olika varianter av regler. Antingen med old school reglerna eller med uppgiftbaserade sådana.
Man kan även välja mellan fem olika armer. Var och en av dom har olika svagheter respektive styrkor och alla striderna som tar plats i spelet är animerad (vilket ni kan se på filmerna från spelet). Humorn spelar helt klart en stor roll i Risk - Factions.
Så spelet kan nog tilltala även den mest kräsna anti strategen att ge spelet en värdig chans.

Developed by Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers studio Stainless Games and featuring cinematics from veteran animation studio Power House Animation, RISK: Factions will offer innovative ways of experiencing the timeless turn-based board game in both objective-based and world conquest modes. Players will be able to engage as one of five playable factions, each with different strengths, as they wage war on new maps with dynamic terrain in their quest for missile silos in order to strategically dominate the game. Additionally, as rivals go head-to-head during unique, animated combat missions, enemies will be able to trigger “Overkill” moments, based on the roll of the dice, and unlock avatar awards while attempting global supremacy. With a new animated art style, kooky humor and a choice of five oddball factions, RISK: Factions is sure to offer something for veteran RISK strategists and newcomers alike.
