Chappie - Graffiti Life´s live event in London
As he has created awesome movies such as "District 9" and "Elysium".
And just recently Blomkamp released his brand new movie "Chappie" (which has a average score of 7.3/10 via imdb). A movie that´s full of famous movie stars such as Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, Sharlto Copley, Die Antwoord and Dev Patel.
And just when i thought that "Chappie "couldn't possibly get any cooler. I found out about the "Chappie Graffiti" live event (which took place at The Old Truman Brewery in London, back in February).

The event was broadcasted via Twitch, and there were 12 Youtube stars at site as well (they all got handpicked by Sony Pictures and OMD). Plus some of London´s most talented graffiti stars from Graffiti Life. And that resulted in a very impressive graffiti creation (as pictured above).

För att marknadsföra den hett eftertraktade filmen ‘Chappie’, har Sony Pictures and OMD handplockat 12 YouTube stjärnor från hela Europa för att delta i ett live-streamat event från The Old Truman Brewery i London den 25:e Februari 2015. Tillsammas har dessa stjärnor en följarskara på över en million följare!
Varje stjärna fick en avgörande roll när det kom till att skapa Europas största delningsbara konstverk tillsammans med Londons mest respekterade Graffitistjärnor från Graffiti Life. YouTube stjärnorna fick även träffa den prisbelönta regissören Neill Blomkamp samma morgon eventet skulle ske som därefter följdes av en exklusiv förhandsvisning.
Under kvällen skulle en 18,5 x 3 meter stor graffitivägg skapas med minnesvärda bilder ur filmen. På bara tre timmar hade stjärnorna lyckats skapa sitt mästerverk.
När målningarna var klara och mästerverkat var komplett så styckades väggen ner till 600 unika delar som sedan skickades ut till de länder som var representerade på eventet. Twitch är kanske den populäraste online gaming plattformen och Twitch live streamade skapandet av graffitiväggen mellan 18-21 där YouTubestjärnorna med jämna mellanrum tittade in i kanalens pop-up lounge där de fick testa på att spela det kommande spelet EVOLVE tillsammans med Twitch populära commentator Spamfish.
Mike Tyson Mysteries - The adult version of Scooby Doo
When Iron Mike goes Scooby Doo. Then you know that it is dead serious!
It´s been a while since i heard (or saw) anything about Mike Tyson. In fact, the last time i even saw him on TV was when i watched "The Hangover Part II" (Mike made my ears bleed at the end of that movie). But then i found out about the upcoming adult cartoon-show "Mike Tyson Mysteries".
And that´s some crazy shit right there. It´s like a mix of Scooby Doo, Mike Tysons crazy life and the bizarre humor from "Drawn Together". So who's the masterminds behind Mike Tyson Mysteries series then? Well, besides Mike Tyson, we got the writer Hugh Davidson (Robot Chicken), and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox).
That's impressive lineup indeed. But will it be enough to impress the critics and a wide audience? That remains to be seen.
Appleseed Alpha is now available on Blu-ray and DVD!
Appleseed Alpha is a 100% CG-animated movie.
It´s been a long time since i watched anything Appleseed related. But i have to say that i´m pretty interested in Appleseed Alpha (which is a prequel to the series). Because it´s directed by Shinji Aramaki (the maker of "Ghost in the Shell"), and i just happen to be a big fan of his (same thing goes for Shirow Masamune).
Sure, Shinji Aramaki has worked with Appleseed in the past (Appleseed Ex Machina and Appleseed the movie for ex). But it seems like Shinji has spent more time on Appleseed Alpha, then he has with any of his previous works with the series.
Oh well, there´s just one way to find out if Appleseed Alpha rocks or sucks. And that´s to watch the movie yourself. Speaking of which, Appleseed Alpha is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Synopsis

The kind of movie that would appeal anyone that likes WWII movies.
If it haven't been for "World of Tanks" then i probarly wouldn't have found out about the upcoming WWII movie "Fury". A movie staring big stars such as Brad Pitt, Scott Eastwood and Jason Isaacs. And i have to say that i´m quite excited over Fury. Not soly because of the list of movie stars that´s involved in the movie.
But becouse it´s been a long time since i saw a good (new made) WWII movie. In fact, most of the WWII movies that i´ve watched recently, have been movies from 1970s or 80s. So it´s going to be rather interesting to see if Fury will deliver the gods on the 17th of October (24th of October in Sweden).

Destiny Bro! - Mashed
Nope, there´s NO similarities whatsoever between Halo and Destiny.
Bungie sure had a impossible task infront of them with to Destiny. which would be to top their own creation, which of course would be "Halo". And against all odds (and millions and millions of dollars), things went rather well for Destiny (both review and sell wise).
But let´s be honest. There are quite a few similarities between Destiny and Halo. And the best comment i´ve heard on the topic would be this one "Destiny is like Halo but with less story and more loot".
Well, make what you want out of it. But i think Mashed made a really good point on the subject with their new video "Destiny Bro!". So, check it out ;)
