Have no plans June 4-7th? Ever wanted a vacation and a anime convention at the same time? Then Colossalcon is perfect for you! Located in Sandusky, Ohio, Colossalcon is a growing convention that has been publicized by big names like Beat Down Boogie this summer for example.
Nice weather + Colossalcon = Epic win!
But wait?! What IS cosplay? It is a hobby of dressing up as an anime, video game, comic book or any type of character that exist fictional or real, it is a growing community and is an international hobby around the world, even having celebrities slowly dress up at conventions like SDCC. Now, let me give the run down of this Convention.
Uniqueness: Located at a water resort called Kalahari is one of its well known features of this con. Luckily this con lets cosplayers shoot at the waterpark sections which makes wonderful photos with its amazing scenery.
They also have a area where you can see animals such as birds, goats and even petting baby tiger cubs! They also have an event called the Otaku Flea Market where con goers can just sit down and start selling their animes and otaku merchandises as long as it is anime or video game related you can sell it! These major things I mentioned is the major reason why Colossalcon is a must-go on your list of conventions!

I recommend Colossalcon as a con to watch out for! It is known to feel like more of a resort convention than anything else which is great for if you want to get away and relax while dressing up!
