VR Jam är nu officiellt - Oculus Rift ftw!
Oculus Rift är verkligen "the new" shit. Både Notch, John Carmack och Gabe Newell är som frälsta utav den.
Jag hörde precis via twitter att VR Jam nu verkligen kommer att hända (Vr Jam startar den 2 Augusti). Ett event där Oculus Rift givetvis kommer att vara den stora huvudattraktionen. Som om det inte vore nog, så kommer priser för över 50,000 dollar att delas ut på plats (I samarbete med IndieCade).

Aug. 9 - Milestone 1 (image and game description)
Aug. 16 - Milestone 2 (video of progress)
Aug. 25 - VR Jam ends (final build submitted)
Sept. 13 - Finalists announced
Sept. 19 - Winners announced
Oct. 3-6 - IndieCade Festival 2013
"We look at almost every Oculus-ready game, demo, and experience that the community shares. It's awesome to see all of the made-for-VR content that has begun defining the platform.
That said, many developers have focused on experimenting with VR ports of pre-existing games. Now that we've shipped over 15,000 development kits worldwide, we wanted to create an opportunity for the community to come together to jam on ideas for new, made-for-VR games that can only be built with the Rift.
With that in mind, we’re thrilled to announce "VR Jam", a long-format, worldwide game jam presented by Oculus and IndieCade with over $50,000 in prizes!!"
