Läckta detaljer om Bungies Destiny spel
Destiny utspela sig 700år från nu (2712, med andra ord). Och miljöerna tycks vara minst sagt ogästvänliga.
Det här vart nog veckans stora snackis på internet. Det efter att IGN lyckats komma över både info, detaljer och konceptbilder från Bungies spelprojekt "Destiny".Destiny bilderna fick mig att tänka på en bladning mellan Lost Planet och Halo faktiskt.
Det är i och för sig inte så konstigt. Med tanke på att Destiny innehåller både utomjordingar, utomjordisk teknologi och ogästvänliga platser. Frågan är bara om Bungie kan leverera något som slår Halo? För det kan då inte vara kul att leva i skuggan utav sina tidigare skapelser.
Speciellt inte nu när de inte äns har hand om Halo längre...
"Our story begins seven hundred years from now in the Last City on Earth, in a Solar System littered with the ruins of man’s Golden Age. A massive, mysterious alien ship hangs overhead like a second Moon. No one knows where it came from or what it’s here for, but only that it’s our protector. Meanwhile, strange, alien monsters creep in from the edge of the universe, determined to take Earth and the Last City. We are young ‘knights’ tasked with defending the remains of humanity, discovering the source of these monsters and – eventually – overcoming it.
The docs leaked to IGN further describe "Destiny" as "designed for your inner seven year old" and at the same time “fun and accessible to all,” hinting at the studio's intentions to make a more widely-accessible game than "Halo" in terms of demographics. The art style seems to be aiming for something a little more mature, though--a mix of Moebius with some of the modern sensibilities of "Appleseed" creator Masamune Shirow.
Bungie had the last word, though: over on B.net, the developers promised more detail in the coming days about what they've been up to with "Destiny," and provided the official still up above. IGN has a bunch more watermarked images on their site for you to check out."
