Nej, det är inte Mowgli goes titanic.

Mycket må handla om The Hobbit just nu. Men det finns faktiskt minst en film till som förtjänar fokus och all respekt. Jag syftar på Ang Lees Berättelsen om Pi (Life of Pi). Redan nu så är filmen en het kandidat till årets bästa film.

Faktumet är att AFI Awards redan tilldelat Life of Pi titeln "Movie of the year". Och filmkritikerna och biobesökarna älskar filmen. Imdb gav Life of Pi 8.4/10, och snittbetyget hos Rotten Tomatoes (internets hårdaste kritiker) ligger på 88% (baserat på nästan 170 recensioner).

Så tänker jag se Berättelsen om Pi? Utan tvekan! Jag kommer troligen att köpa boken också. Så vad handlar filmen om då? Precis allt det som gör livet värt att leva.
