The Borderlands 2 PSV slim bundle is coming May 28th to EU

borderlands 2
Will you buy the Borderlands 2 PS Vita Slim bundle?

Borderlands 2 will touchdown in Europe on May 28th. Sony’s latest portable console the PS Vita slim will be in the U.S. this month too, where it comes packaged with Borderlands 2 plus 6 DLC packs: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirates Booty, Mr. Torgues Campaign of Carnage, Psycho Character Class, Mechromancer Character Class, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1, and The Collector’s Edition Pack .Borderlands 2 PS Vita Bundle

The original version of the critically acclaimed action-RPG series Borderlands, and Borderlands 2 was developed by Gearbox. This port will feature collaboration from Iron Galaxy Studios, who developed Beat-’em-up Divekick.   Apart from the full game, and the 6 DLC packs, you’ll also be able to enjoy the full features of the PS Vita Slim.

These will include a much lighter and more rounded body, improved speakers; and a LCD display touchscreen. Enhanced support for the touchscreen, and rear touchpad are key features to note as well.

The almighty Borderlands 2 Ps Vita slim bundle

borderlands 2 vita bundle
Borderlands 2 + Ps vita slim = A great deal?

Starting today you can purchase the lighter, slimmer version of the PS Vita. The release makes the PS Vita Slim, 20% slimmer and 15% lighter than the original PS Vita. Featuring a OLED-equipped handheld, in the color piano black, in a bundle with Borderlands 2.

Borderlands2 will get its very own standalone portable release next week finally. Unfortunately, it will not be the GOTY ED. of Borderlands 2. There's also 1 GB of internal memory to be enjoyed, a drastically longer battery life, a liquid-crystal display (LCD); and a much more rounded figure.

The All-in-one Borderlands 2 Limited Edition PlayStation Vita Bundle includes the new PS Vita Wi-Fi system, Borderlands 2 Full Game Digital Voucher, and 8GB Memory Card. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with a movie, as past PSP bundles used to; but we can live with that.

Six (6) Borderlands 2 DLC packs including, Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, the Psycho Character Class, Mechromancer Character Class, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1, and Collector's Edition Pack.

Not only does this makeover make the PS Vita much more comfortable to hold, but it makes it a competitive monster in the handheld market. The Nintendo 3DS doesn’t offer such capabilities such as internal memory, or a DLC network yet. However with the release of the 2DS, we still have yet to see any disappointments from Nintendo in the near future.

E3 is still fast approaching, and Nintendo has already dismissed any notion as to a console reveal; however there is still the digital media announcement that they will stream before E3, so the chances are still pretty favorable.

Unity comes to PsVita

unity
Unity, now for PSV as well.

More and more formats gets support for Unity. And more and more developers are starting to use Unity to develop video games to various formats. I can´t blame them for doing so though. Cuz you get some really powerfull creation tools with the Unity development kit.

So it just feelt pretty logic that PsVita now supports Unity. Cuz to this day. The PsVita has sold over 7 million units worldwide. So it has a pretty big user fan base. Speaking of which. Zoink! recently released their PSV/PS3 game "Stick It To The Man".

So, check it out!

Press release:
"In March 2013, Unity Technologies announced a partnership with Sony based on support for every single one of SCE’s PlayStation platforms, in addition to Unity for PlayStation®3.

Today, Unity announced that with Unity 4.3 they are releasing Unity for PlayStation®Vita to the public.

Developers with a licensed developer agreement from SCE for PS Vita will now be able to deploy their game to PS Vita via the Unity engine and make use of platform-specific functionality including:
- Motion sensors
- Front and rear cameras
- Dual analog sticks
- Rear Touch pad

Furthermore, Unity for PS Vita will allow them to integrate the full suite of PSN features into their games, including Trophies, Friends and Matching functionality into your game.

Unity for PS Vita allows developers to develop their game once, without rewriting the code from scratch; simply build and run it on the PS Vita devkit. Not only that, developers can now create both 2D and 3D games with Unity 4.3, animate almost anything with the native animation system Mecanim, and implement awesome graphics."

Hatsune Miku Project DIVA f - Kommer till PS Vita

hatsune miku project diva f
Miss Hatsune Miku.

“We’re excited to bring this global phenomenon and share it with fans in the West,” said John Cheng, President and COO, SEGA of America. “Now gamers will be able to experience and enjoy Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f anywhere, anytime, and on the go with the portable handheld version.”
