There will be no more half naked streams on Twitch
Twitch goes anti half nude/naked streams. Good move Amazon, good move indeed.
This was just a matter of time really. Because i knew that Amazon (they bought Twitch for $970 million) would roll out new policy rules for Twitch TV sooner or later. And just as i suspected, there would be a "no more half naked streams" rule/policy on Twitch. And as we all know, there´s quite a few people that have used half nude content to get more views on their streams (especially females, on Youtube they are known as "boobie channels").
But that "trend" is now a thing of the past on Twitch TV, and good thing that. Because if you have to be half nude to get more views on Twitch, then you´re on the wrong site imo. Because it should be ALL about the games and the people who play them (the personalites), and the entertainment value that follows.
So i´m totally fine with the new Twitch rule that Amazon has applied. Speaking of which, here´s a part of Twitch rules of conduct (the one that concerns nudity in Streams):
"Nerds are sexy, and you're all magnificent, beautiful creatures, but let's try and keep this about the games, shall we?"
"Wearing no clothing or sexually suggestive clothing—including lingerie, swimsuits, pasties, and undergarments—is prohibited, as well as any full nude torsos, which applies to both male and female broadcasters. You may have a great six-pack, but that's better shared on the beach during a 2-on-2 volleyball game blasting 'Playing with the Boys.'"
