Assassin's Creed Rogue - The French and Indian War
Assassins Creed Rogue takes place between 1752 and 1761, during the French and Indian War.
The rants have been loud, and they have been many. And the video game critics has been quite sceptical about Ubisofts "Assassin's Creed Rogue".
Mainly because of three reasons. 1. It´s not a next-gen title and 2. The struggle with technical issues (which is part true). And 3. The part about "Assassin's Creed Rogue reviews won´t be seen after the launch".
The last one turned out to be a false positive though. Because the reviews have already started to drop in for Assassin's Creed Rogue.
And so far, there´s more good reviews than bad one´s. For example, the 360 version of ACR has an average score of 84.17% via gamerankings.com, and a 84/100 via Metacritics. That´s good news of course.
But even so, there seems to be pretty blended emotions and thoughts about ACR. In my case, I'm quite curious to find out how good (or bad) the PC-version really is. Because so far, there´s no PC-reviews for Assassin's Creed Rogue. At least not from the big sites. Oh, well, time will tell. So, will you guys pick up ACR? And if so, to which format will you buy it?
About Assassin's Creed Rogue:
18th century, North America. Amidst the chaos and violence of the French and Indian War, Shay Patrick Cormac, a fearless young member of the Assassin Brotherhood, undergoes a dark transformation that will forever shape the future of the American colonies.
After a dangerous mission gone tragically wrong, Shay turns his back on the Assassins who, in response, attempt to end his life. Cast aside by those he once called brothers, Shay sets out on a mission to wipe out all who turned against him and ultimately become the most feared Assassin hunter in history. Introducing Assassin's Creed Rogue, the darkest chapter in the Assassin's Creed franchise yet.
As Shay, you will experience the slow transformation from Assassin to Assassin Hunter. Follow your own creed and set off on an extraordinary journey through New York City, the wild river valley, and far away to the icy cold waters of the North Atlantic in pursuit of your ultimate goal to bring down the Assassins.
