The Crew - Ubisoft´s own open world online racing game

the crew
Will "The Crew" have a chance against the elite games of the racing genre?

There´s a lot of competition on the racing scene, and everyone want´s a piece of the pie. And it seems like Ubisoft will try to reach out a grab a piece of that pie with their online open world racing game "The Crew" (for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360). But will Ubisoft succeed?

Or will The Crew end up being just "another" racing game among the crowd? Left far behind in the dust of other superior racing games? Well, back in July (this year) Ubisoft released the closed beta version of "The Crew" for PC.

And from what i´ve heard, the beta players enjoyed the game (which would be the story-driven missions which takes place in the Midwest and East Coast of America).

The console players seems to have liked the open beta (which started November 25th) version of "The Crew" as well. And due to the fact that Ubisoft will release "The Crew" on December 2nd. We will soon find out whether or not the game rocks or just sucks.

But if you already believe in "The Crew", then you might consider checking out the nice pre-order deal for the game (which you can find down below).

The Crew pre-order deal:
- You get an exclusive access to a Mini Copper S 2010

Exclusive street edition including:
- A set of custom parts (front bumper, rear bumper, motor hood, rear wing)
- A full set of performance parts (motor core, tires, suspension, weight reduction, chassis, brakes, anti-roll bars, differential, engine, exhaust, ECU, carb, charger, gear box)
- An exclusive sticker created by the community

About The Crew:
This is The Crew, the ultimate MMO car-PG experience where starting your engine ignites an ever-changing, action-packed journey of infinite possibilities. This vast open world is for the countless drivers who come together to play, and for every driver within you. NEVER DRIVE ALONE.

Sony Xperia Z3 – Sonys iPhone killer

sony xperia z3
I have to say that i really like the design of Sonys Sony Xperia Z3.

There´s a lot of competition on the smart phone market nowadays. More than ever before actually. Apple may have been the top cat of the market for several years now.

But times have (and the circumstances) changed. Samsung has started to take market shares from Apple, and China wants a piece of the pie as well (Google "Xiaomi", because they are the worlds third biggest smartphone manufacturer now).

Then we got Sony (that´s now independent from Ericsson), whom has been something of an underdog for quite some time now. But that´s about to change. And the Xperia Z3 seems to be the very beginning of that change. Me, i´m a Gamer.

So i really like that Xperia Z3 supports "PS4 Remote Play", and that it´s a really powerful smart phone (you can play the most advanced mobile games on the market with no sweat!). Awesome indeed.

But what does the Xperia Z3 costs then? About  £549 for a unlock phone (Tre sells the unlocked version of Xperia Z3 for 6,000 Swedish krona).

That's A pretty good price considering what you get for that money (check out the Xperia Z3 features list down below!). Besides, it´s about time that i get a new smartphone. Because i´m still using a old iPhone 4.

But what about you guys? What do you think about

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Sponsored video

dragon age inquisition
Dragon Age: Inquisition is out in retail and digital stores now!

It seems like my guts was right about Bioware´s Dragon Age: Inquisition (i know, we are all very tempted to call it "Dragon Age III", but no can do).

Because the fans likes the game, and so does the media as well. And so far the reviews has been very good for PS4, Xbox One and PC (nothing much has been said about the PS3 and 360 versions of Inquisition).

These are for example the average grades for Dragon Age: Inquisition so far:

Gamerankings.com:
PS4 90.50%
PC 88.50%
Xbox One 87.50%

Metacritic.com
PS4 90/100
PC 87/100
Xbox One 86/100

Rather good grades so i must say. But i´m still pretty curious to find out the average grades for the 360 and PS3 versions of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Oh well, time will tell! One thing is for sure though, Dragon Age: Inquisition (and Bioware) diden´t fail us!

About Dragon Age: Inquisition:
A cataclysmic event plunges the land of Thedas into turmoil. Dragons darken the sky, casting a shadow over lands on the brink of chaos. Mages break into all-out war against the oppressive templars. Nations rise against one another. It falls to you and your allies to restore order as you lead the Inquisition and hunt down the agents of chaos. Explore, lead, and battle: Tough choices define your experience, and even one decision can change the course of what's to come.

Assassin's Creed Rogue - The French and Indian War

assassins creed rogue
Assassins Creed Rogue takes place between 1752 and 1761, during the French and Indian War.

The rants have been loud, and they have been many. And the video game critics has been quite sceptical about Ubisofts "Assassin's Creed Rogue".

Mainly because of three reasons. 1. It´s not a next-gen title and 2. The struggle with technical issues (which is part true). And 3. The part about "Assassin's Creed Rogue reviews won´t be seen after the launch".

The last one turned out to be a false positive though. Because the reviews have already started to drop in for Assassin's Creed Rogue.

And so far, there´s more good reviews than bad one´s. For example, the 360 version of ACR has an average score of 84.17% via  gamerankings.com, and a 84/100 via Metacritics. That´s good news of course.

But even so, there seems to be pretty blended emotions and thoughts about ACR. In my case, I'm quite curious to find out how good (or bad) the PC-version really is. Because so far, there´s no PC-reviews for Assassin's Creed Rogue. At least not from the big sites. Oh, well, time will tell. So, will you guys pick up ACR? And if so, to which format will you buy it?

About Assassin's Creed Rogue:
18th century, North America. Amidst the chaos and violence of the French and Indian War, Shay Patrick Cormac, a fearless young member of the Assassin Brotherhood, undergoes a dark transformation that will forever shape the future of the American colonies.

After a dangerous mission gone tragically wrong, Shay turns his back on the Assassins who, in response, attempt to end his life. Cast aside by those he once called brothers, Shay sets out on a mission to wipe out all who turned against him and ultimately become the most feared Assassin hunter in history. Introducing Assassin's Creed Rogue, the darkest chapter in the Assassin's Creed franchise yet.

As Shay, you will experience the slow transformation from Assassin to Assassin Hunter. Follow your own creed and set off on an extraordinary journey through New York City, the wild river valley, and far away to the icy cold waters of the North Atlantic in pursuit of your ultimate goal to bring down the Assassins.

Far Cry 4 - Are you ready for the release next week?

far cry 4
Which format will you play Far Cry 4 on?

I can´t say that i really urge that much for the Swedish winter to come and knock on my door. But at the same time. I know more than well that Ubisoft will release Far Cry 4 on November the 18th (for PC, PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbox One). Besides, the winter is already here in Sweden. Well, okay.

"Some" parts of Sweden. But i can look past that IF i get the chance  to strangle that blond (Russian?) guy in Far Cry 4. I mean,  just his haircut alone makes my blood boil. Speaking of which. Blondie (not the artist. But the blond bad guy from Far Cry 4) just happens to show up in Ubisofts new Far Cry 4 trailer. And, yeah. His just as creepy, evil and snobby as always. So, check it out ;)

About Far Cry 4:
Far Cry 4 is an open-world first-person shooter that delivers the most expansive and immersive Far Cry experience yet. In Far Cry 4, players find themselves in Kyrat, a breathtaking, perilous, and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles, and animals, players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape.

Komplett - Test your addiction

komplett test your addiction
For the record. I´m 48% addicted according to the test result.

I know that one shouldn't joke about addiction. Because it´s a serious matter (no matter the nature of the addiction in question). But in this case, i´am prepared to make an exception.

And why is that? You might ask yourself. Because i think it´s alright to joke about Komplett´s (a big Nordic retail company) new internet commercial (might get aired on TV as well) "Test your addiction".

Which basically makes fun of people's addiction with smartphones (just search for #testyouraddiction on Twitter for live examples). And just for the fun of it, you can actually test your own smartphone addiction via Komplett´s addiction test page.

Me, i've got a 48% score. So that means that i´m "somewhat" addicted to smartphones and social media. So, what´s your score? ;)

Dungeons 2 - Realmforge Studios second try

dungeons 2
Dungeons 2 is set for a release sometime next year (to PC, MAC and iOS).

I had this very tiny memory of a game RPG/RTS/Dungeon management game named "Dungeon" something this morning. But naturally, i thought of "Dungeon Keeper". Which, of course.

Would be totally wrong, Sure, it´s a RPG/RTS game. But that´s not the one that i was thinking about. Then i started to realize that it was Realmforge Studios "Dungeons", that i´ve been thinking about all along.

Not the best of games perhaps (it has a 63% average score on Metacritic.com), but i really like the fact that Dungeons is the right opposite to Dungeon Keeper.

Because you take care of your heroes in Dungeons, not your monsters. Anyhow, just for the fun of it. I checked out the homepage for Dungeons. And guess what?

There´s a Dungeons 2 in the making. And it´s set for a release next year! The question remains however, have Realmforge Studios learned their lesson since they released the very first ame?

About Dungeons 2:
The Dungeon Lord is back – and this time he’s serious! In Dungeons 2, fulfil the Dungeon Lord’s insatiable quest for vengeance by recruiting fearsome new monsters from all corners of the underworld in order to undertake his evil bidding.

Taking over the underworld isn’t enough though – this time The Dungeon Lord will extend his dominion over the puny humans and attempt to conquer the overworld too! The Dungeon Lord is back – and this time he’s serious! Taking over the underworld isn’t enough though – this time The Dungeon Lord will extend his dominion over the puny humans and attempt to conquer the overworld too!

Take control of the mighty Dungeon Lord and craft a network of unique and terrifying dungeons, recruit an army of fearsome creatures and command two new factions. Prepare to defend your Kingdom against those pesky heroes, go above ground to wage war on their human cities and use the ‘Hand of Terror’ to take direct control over your minions, issue commands, and even dish out a swift slap to keep them in line.

The extensive campaign story mode is packed with even more of the dark humour which made the original Dungeons a hit and is peppered with numerous references to various fantasy books, movies and TV shows. Additionally, you can test your strength in four different game modes in multiplayer for up to four players with other Dungeon Lords over LAN or online.

Features of Dungeons 2:
- Featuring a thrilling single player campaign with 2 playable factions, 26 unique creatures, multiple types of heroes and game modes, Dungeons 2 is the Dungeon Manager simulation game, you've been waiting for

NoconKid interview - Shenmue HD ambition

noconkid interview shenmue
Shenmue needs to happen asap!

Team Yu and the Save Shenmue campaign desreves tons of love and respect for all the work that they have done for the cause of making Shenmue 3, and Shenmue HD happen. No doubt about that. In a way, they have become the voice of the Shenmue community worldwide.

And it seems like both SEGA and Mr Yu Suzuki has starten to listen (and pay attention) to what the "Save Shenmue" movement has to say. And rightfully so, because there´s a huge demand for a HD remake of Shenmue, and a Shenmue III (Kickstarter, Indiegogo anyone?).

And speaking of which. Don´t miss out on awesome "Shenmue HD ambition" interview with NoconKid. Because it´s a really good interview if you want to know more about the super ambitious Shenmue HD project.

Pewdiepie is accused of being a sexist by Swedish media

pewdiepie
The face of a sexist. At least according to Swedish media.

Deep inside, i knew that it was just a matter of time before Pewdiepie would get into deep trouble with the press in Sweden. Because based on the kind content that he create, and the fact that his nr 1 on Youtube. His a big target for the press to pick on.

So what's the fuss all about then? Well, apparently Aftonbladet (a Swedish newspaper) didn't  like his Nicki Minaj video ("NICKI MINAJ ANACONDA BUTT SCULPTURE!"). You know, the one were Pewdiepie tries to do a 3D butt sculpture in autocad

Basically they said that Pewdiepie is a sexist, and that he should know better. And that his "Bros" are just a "for boys only" club. As far as i know, Felix just tries to entertain people. I can admit that "some" of his videos could need some adjustments on that area.

But then again. If you read the comments on Aftonbladets article (it´s in Swedish though). Then you will notice that there´s quite a few female fans that don´t bother about this things at all. Because just like South Park, Pewdiepie jokes about everything and everyone.

I also love the fact that Aftonbladet had to state (literally) that Felix is a "white hetrosexual man". As if that would be some kind of a crime? But what do you guys think about all this? Is Pewdiepie really a sexist?

call of duty advanced warfare
COD Advanced Warfare has been out for two days now (for PC, PS3, PS3, 360 and Xbox One).

I know that not everyone may like COD as a whole. And i can admit that i´m not the biggest of fans of COD either. But i have to admit that Sledge Hammer Games has done a really great job with COD Advanced Warfare.

And the reviews have been rather good as well. For example, the Xbox One game got a average grade of 85.07%. And the PS4 version has a average grade of 84.64% via Gamerankings.com

Alone in the Dark: Illumination - Now available on Steam

alone in the dark illumination
Alone in the Dark goes Gears of War?

As we all know, the 2008 edition of Alone in the Dark failed pretty damn hard. And with that fact freash in our minds. The AITD fans are pretty darn nervous about Alone in the Dark Illumination. Mostly becouse they think it´s nothing more than a Gears of War game with some horror elements to it.

Then again, the fans base all of that one one single trailer (the one that you will find further down the page). Imo, it´s to early to bring out the chainsaw and just tear Illumination apart.

In short, i think that Illumination at least deserves a fair chance (just like any other game). And IF we are asked to review the game, we will do so. In fact, i will personally take care of it.

Because i´ve been down with the Alone in the Dark series since the very first game. Oh well, this fall we will know for sure. And btw, you can pre-order Alone in the Dark: Illumination for 27,99 Euro via Steam at the moment.

Press release:
Alone in the Dark: Illumination will be available on Steam for $29.99. As the latest installment of the long-running Alone in the Dark® franchise, Alone in the Dark: Illumination is a third-person action-horror game that brings interesting new twists and gameplay including the power of illumination, 4-player cooperative multiplayer mode, and a unique cast of characters featuring descendants of the original Alone in the Dark heroes. Players can choose between the four playable heroes, each armed with an individual set of special abilities and weapons.

Alone in the Dark: Illumination is being developed by PURE FPS and fans can keep up with the latest on the game on Twitter at @AITDGame or Facebook at facebook.com/aloneinthedarkgame.

Dragon Age Inquisition - The clash of nations

dragon age inquisition
Dragon Age Inquisition runs on a mix of Frostbite 3 and the SpeedTree engine.

There´s less than three weeks left now until EA (And Bioware) will release their long awaited RPG game "Dragon Age Inquisition". Me, i still remember when the game was referred to as "Dragon Age III".

But as we all know, that would not become the final name in the end. Nevertheless, Dragon Age Inquisition is still a sequel to Dragon Age 1 and 2.

And Dragon Age Inquisition is the third game in the series. So i can somewhat understand why the Dragon Age fans still refer to it as "Dragon Age III".

The only thing that really matters in the end though, is whether or not Dragon Age Inquisition will become a good game (or a bad one).

I have zero worries about the soundtrack for Dragon Age Inquisition though. Because it´s all done by Trevor Morris (The Hills Have Eyes 2, Vikings, Dracula, Need for Speed: Carbon, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2)-

As for the actual game itself, We'll have to wait until the 20th of November to find out. Because that´s when Dragon Age Inquisition get´s released (for PC, PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbox One).

About Dragon Age Inquisition:
A cataclysmic event plunges the land of Thedas into turmoil. Dragons darken the sky, casting a shadow over lands on the brink of chaos. Mages break into all-out war against the oppressive templars.

Nations rise against one another. It falls to you and your allies to restore order as you lead the Inquisition and hunt down the agents of chaos. Explore, lead, and battle: Tough choices define your experience, and even one decision can change the course of what's to come.
